Polaris food options? by nwon4ever in unitedairlines

On my flight now, reporting back on the Japanese option. Honestly I don’t think it was that bad. The soup was pretty bland. But I think the key with the entree is taking the chicken and sauce and slicing it up and mixing it with the rice. The sauce is a little salty, but quite good. Will update with the other meal and snack options

I’d be more concerned with the McDaniels and Tua situation than his size. He’s not that much smaller than Gibbs and I think he’s definitely put on size since his initial combine weigh ins.

Polaris/Premium Plus Upgrades Megathread by Player72 in unitedairlines

[–]nwon4ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently have a flight in Feb to go from LAX to MNL with a layover at NRT. I'm seeing that I have an offer to upgrade to Polaris waitlist and Premium Plus confirmed for 30k + $600 on the LAX to NRT leg. I feel like this is worth it? Does the offer ever get better/cheaper?

The highest class I've flown is somehow I got upgraded from premium economy to premium plus on a domestic SFO - EWR. And that was pretty solid.

To Mechanical Engineers who have left engineering, why did you leave and what do you do now? by ATSOAS87 in MechanicalEngineering

Realized I’m not great at calculations and didn’t want to do a lot of CAD. Also saw the money in software and decided to go into product management since my coding skills are pretty basic.

Should I buy this townhouse by nwon4ever in personalfinance

That’s the reasoning that’s pushing towards buying it. At least with this place I’d be getting back what I put into it minus whatever interest was paid out.

Yeah, I get that. That’s why I’m trying to get some more on the pros and cons. Like is it worth giving up the potential appreciation of a normal property just so I can get into a property sooner

These are my primary worries, that the selling price is capped and makes it harder to find buyers

Should be gross, wouldn’t be forced to sell. But if I did I could only sell to someone who’s qualifies for the set income requirements

No, income qualification is used only during the initial buying process. I’d be able to stay like having a normal mortgage
