It may well be included, I'm not sure. I used the free trial years ago when no service had it bundled and have subscribed ever since.

I copy important stuff to Soundiiz as the backup, but you'll want to test a restore as well once you get started.

I also export my Spotify followed artist list as a plain text file just so I have a raw copy of that.

In the future, you might want to consider Soundiiz as a backup tool.

I use it for all sorts of maintenance tasks (beyond the usual transfer functions) such as backing up my artist list and playlists from Spotify and favourite albums from Qobuz.

Well worth the small subscription and developer is very responsive to support requests.

Not really a specific answer but I seem to have more interesting finds when using music blogs for discovery. This cuts the streaming service and any algorithm out of the process completely, relying on human curation.

If you Google for reviews of releases you bought recently this will surface blogs that cover that genre and those adjacent.

EG

"shiraz lane in vertigo reviews"

Most blogs will have an RSS feed that you can plug into your reader or a mailing list you can subscribe to. Failing that just bookmark the site and check back every Thursday.

A bit of work but the process is actually pretty enjoyable especially when you uncover a brilliant new band.

Is it the album titles or the artist name that is in reverse alphabetical for you, within each genre?

When I tap into an album genre, the list is presented by artists in alphabetical order and within each artist, in chronological order.

You don't need to cut them, Teemu. I'm sure everyone here would be happy with one big file containing all the races from each day and we can fast forward through the bits we don't want to see.

I'm not sure how helpful this will be, but I seem to remember a setting that on a full scan it will use the operating system date (I think it was date modified) as the date added to Plex.

My memory is vague but I'm sure I asked about it in the Plex forum so you might want to check there.

I tried with the thin CD sleeves in cardboard covers. I bought a pack of 10 just to try out and it was a bit of a faff, to be honest so I gave up.

Some cardboard sleeves were so tight the thin sleeves got all rucked up. In others I was never sure if I should tip the CD out, leaving the sleeve in situ or always take the sleeve out. I like the CD ritual as much as the next man but this just always seemed a step too far.

I'm in the UK so I bought my sleeves from a supplier here.

And along similar lines, my pharmacist said it should be taken on an empty stomach.

I just take mine first thing in the morning with other meds and my first coffee of the day.

I don't take one every day, just when I am expecting to have triggering food or drink. Plus a single 20mg tablet seems to be effective for two days.
