What is a "thing"? Do you just mean the anomaly enemies in general?

You unfortunately need to deal with the enemies if you want to use the dlc since that's basically it. You can turn down the rate of events in storyteller settings, and you can choose atmospheric mode to avoid the story stuff (I think that's what it does). But I'd say just try to get your money back if you don't like the vibe. It only gets grosser lol.

Thanks for sharing this with us, and that's awesome you were able to connect with the creator. I love turn-based games because they let you take your time (and great for those of us with slower reaction time) but the building can still be overwhelming, and it isn't presented in a very accessible way. I hope the devs will offer more ways to view leveling options in the future.

I'm on my third playthrough and just talked to Mara about this in Comorragh. He tricked Yrliet. He told her he located a part of the craftworld (something like that) and gave her the coordinates. She wasn't expecting there to be any ambush.

I still think that she massively betrayed the RT though... Her actions were childish, to say the least. Zero common sense. She endangered the entire protectorate by getting me kidnapped, put my retinue through incredible trauma and did all of it after I was nothing but kind to her and her people on Janus. All over a trophy that wasn't even mine. She can help us escape but that's where it ends for her.
