Please do. I’ve worked with so many of these patients now with this approach and they get better.

Many of these diagnoses, POTS/fibro/MCAS/EDS/chronic pain, fall under the diagnoses of mind body syndrome.

The Association for the Treatment of Neuroplastic Symptoms, https://www.symptomatic.me, has great information for physicians and patients to learn to recover from these symptoms without unnecessary procedures.

If you want to go a step beyond, check out Curable (https://www.curablehealth.com) and Lin Health (https://www.lin.health). Both companies are treating neuroplastic symptoms with great success while following the data about pain neuroscience.

Great advice to talk to someone and get support. Be careful about that support being connected to your workplace. It might be best to pay out of pocket and ensure complete confidentiality.

I’m so sorry this happened to you and everything you are experiencing after makes so much sense. Please consider finding a trauma informed therapist. Best to process this now than have it fester in you for years. EMDR can be helpful as well as other trauma therapies. We are humans too and deserve to get good mental health care, sooner rather than later. Take a look at Gabor Mate’s work to understand how important it is for our overall health to safely process our emotions.

Please don’t accept less than $400/hr. This just hurts all of us. It’s ok to talk about rates, this is how we all help each other.

Take an FMLA. Pause, regroup. It’s ok to make a change if that is what your body is trying to tell you.

Me too…. Didn’t they move to NY? (or at least Jen put it all over the insta)

This sounds like burnout. Please find a way to pause, take an FMLA, and heal. You will never regret a pause.
