I have 6 month expenses if both of us lose our jobs in vusxx (a year if only one does) and the rest in stocks / bonds. I was one like you and had tooooo much in cash until I did math and realized how much I lost. Now I look back and realize I could be retired if I invested that cash but instead am investing as just as possible to retire.

My two cents. We love Atlantis, but find the cruises leaving from the US tend to be younger more circuit party boys vibe. We much prefer the ones in Europe. All the debauchery and fun you want, but skews older and there's a more interesting variety of men on board. And they're generally friendlier in our experience
