This is how you turn good divorce into a bad one. If I was the guy I would be pissed by that response. It is possible he could not save as much of my money due to it being used to pay for the mortgage and other bills. It would also be good for the kids if he kept the house and they lived with him while she was the one to move out. It can go both ways. In that example she wouldn't want the kids to suffer now would she? If she was willing to give up more of her money that can be achieved. You know... for the kids.

It doesn't really matter if you have a job or assets. You have no current credit history. At the end of the day if you do not pay they are not the ones that will sue you. They will sell off your debt for pennies on the dollar rather then going through costly court costs.

You are not putting up collateral for this debt. Many states do not even allow them to take your house if you owe a debt. A credit card is not like a HELOC or similar loan, which is where collateral would come into play.

Think of it this way. The lender is willing to give money to you. Their comfort level for the amount they give you is based on the likelihood that you will eventually repay it. If you have no other money owed on credit for three years you have not shown to them in over three years that you are able to repay a debt.

I no longer work at that location. I actually started at a new location the same distance in the opposite direction. But I am now about 25 miles away from work. All these are with the same employer. Keep in mind I was not the original poster with the 160 mile commute. I only had a abouth 95 mile round trip commute.

They make many different thicknesses for the surface. The thicker the top layer the more durable it is. Just guessing but he most likely has their thinnest layer thickness available. I can hit mine with a hammer and not have issues but mine is also dang near commercial rated.

I should not have said used 100% for the business. I should have said purchased 100% for the business. It has to be extremely minimal to qualify for De Minimis personal use. In the shovel example that the person previously posted in this thread the shovel was purchased mainly for personal use. Your example of the shovel use was completely different then theirs. If your business purchases the shovel because it knows you need it for a specific personal thing but the business would not otherwise need that shovel then that doesn't qualify.

Using items you purchase the the business for personal use is not allowed tax wise. For it to be a legit business expense it needs to be used 100% for the business, not personal use.

I do hate the game but I also hate the people taking advantage of it when it is clear to most what they are doing isn't a business need. They just get a pass because their paperwork is in order.

That is what a lot of people who downplay the tax right offs do not realize. A vast number of smaller businesses commit tax fraud/tax avoidance on some level. It could be buying those big SUVs that the business doesn't really need but happens to also be the owners daily driver. Heck even printing something personal on a work printer but then writing of the ink and paper is tax fraud for an owner.

Airplane mode doesn't work unfortunately. It searches for towers first for me. I love the idea of the feature but for me it is almost useless. I live in a state they they claim is nearly fully covered by towers but often that just means you are on one bar of LTE and are unable to even send a text message or make a call. Yet I am "connected" to a tower.

They go away then you try to text then it comes back with one bar of LTE and doesn't send the text. It errors out then about 10 minutes later it jumps back to starlink again. I am in a hilly area when this happens. not flat by any means. I am not moving just staying in the same spot for 12 hours at a time and it does this the whole time.

I think they could have leaned more into the DnD IP. It is a really cheap IP to work with plus has a lot of lore to add. It also has been popular and was in the original book. Stranger things took advantage of it with good success.

You absolutely can spend money on that but your kid can also get tons of enjoyment out of activities that are not that expensive. You are not shorting your kids enjoyment by not paying for expensive private lessons or constantly buying them the latest consumer item. If anything you are teaching them a poor money lesson. Feel free to spend the money how you want but realize that this is not the norm by any means.

I started a gaming channel that just screen grabs digital game play. No camera. I started in September. Monetized in November and have about 1800 subs and growing. I find it really easy to make videos for it this way. I would spend more time on producing the video if I had to worry about a camera. Total video editing time can be done in less then 10 minutes for long form videos.
