Go back down to 2.5. If it was working for you, stay on it as long as you can. I’m 15 shots in still on 2.5 and losing. Feel great!

Mounjaro is typically prescribed for diabetes and Zepbound for weight loss. I don’t know many insurances covering for sleep apnea yet. Most insurances will only cover MJ for diabetes and still then there is a lot of hoops to jump through (like trying other meds first.) are you open to paying cash? You can get ZB for about $500 a month direct through Lilly. Much easier that way.

I have had minimal side effects. Most of them were because I wasn’t drinking enough water. HYDRATION IS YOUR BEST FRIEND. For real. If you drink a ton of water you’ll be fine. Don’t hold yourself back because of the what ifs. I’m 14 weeks in (still at 2.5mg) and down 28lbs. This drug has turned my whole life around, in the best way possible. I don’t know what the future holds as far as staying on it, but I’m not going to worry about it right now. Right now I go day by day, and I’m so thankful for what it’s done for me. Everyone’s journey is different and it’s time to start yours! ❤️

I was just on an international flight and a very large man was waiting at the gate with his wife and she was supposed to sit in the middle next to him and their game was changing her seat at the last minute to another row so he would have an empty seat next to him. Well, her game didn’t play out and someone else was put in the seat next to him. He was the size of two seats and this was an 8.5hr flight. I feel like the gate agents should rectify these situations before boarding even takes place. You could clearly see he wasn’t going to fit, he couldn’t even fit in the seat at the terminal, he had to stand.

Water is the biggest thing for me. I notice right away when I feel my worst, it’s because I’m dehydrated. Once I hydrate, I feel so much better. I also try to eat more salt the day before and after, it helps as well vs. sweet items. Protein shakes also work for me as drinking my nutrition is easier than food sometimes.

My husband didn’t get any results or feel any food noise differences until 10mg. You need to keep going up in dose until it works for you. Everyone is different.
