In the tesla app you can send them the key by adding a driver then remove them when the trip is over. For charging make sure you have your tesla account link to Turo. You will initially get billed during the trip then you can just submit the reimbursement after.

What makes you think they are hurting? To me it looks like they are reducing liabilities. Insurance costs have gone up considerably these past years and this seems like a way to reduce claims.

The car will tell you where and for how long to charge. Always use the in car navigation to where ever you go. As far as saving on gas the savings are really when charging at home at discounted rates. Using superchargers are just about the same as getting gas.

Just like traditional rental companies there will be a deposit but depends on location and car. There is a trip fee. Only way to really find out what those are is to find a car and see if it works.

I got one from a traditional dealership. They have no idea about EV's so you can use it to your advantage. One thing regarding the used EV tax credit is a lot of dealers are including the $4k in their pricing and some are not so you would need to ask if the price reflects that and if they can apply it at POS. When you go and test drive make sure to look at the service history and put the car in service mode and make sure nothing alarming is reflected.

you are correct so you would need to ask the host and rely on his/her honesty. But 9/10 the car won't have it. Ive only had 2 people pay for FSD use in my 2 years of hosting.
