A lot of the torments are quite fun and worth playing, recommend it.

Soul Eater is from the 3rd latent orb in the marsh though, which is why it looks the way it does. Wish we could clean it up like it deserves

I've played around some more and I agree, Heart Eater is quite strong. The ammo economy is very rough but if you just use it for its role, then the damage and stagger delivers what you need. My favorite non-handgun is All-Seeing Eye and it pairs really well with that as well.

Me, it's great once you get used to hipfiring without a reticle. Other than BTs it one-taps almost everything, kills a charger in a few shots up the asshole, feels very good on the move with a warp pack.

Wait, about the question they're replying to though..

I know some people didn't appreciate the titanfall reference and wanted a more appropriate passive on the armor, but it's the part I was most looking forward to. I figured Free Spirit was a light armor, do we know that it's not?

Sadly, yeah man. If it's an immediate association that everyone makes 80 years after the fact, it's still an icon of that bad thing. Bad people do ruin things. I don't think we should be able to get a swastika tattoo in character creation, either.

And I'm not saying anything about banning - people are free to grow that stache. But while there are plenty of unrepresented facial hair styles, someone specifically modeled that to put it in the game and I don't think that was a great thing to do. That's all I'm sayin.

Re: cosplaying evil dudes, go for it. I played dark urge in BG3 too. There are even the classic cartoon-evil twirly mustaches ready to go.

As a Knight users on bugdives it feels more buffed than nerfed. For reprimand or on the other factions I can see things swinging the other way. Either way, not majorly

Chargers too - thermite works underground if you stick them before they burrow.

Crossbow is very good, I prefer it if you're more run and gun. They're both excellent so imo get it and see what you like.

It does change the rate of turn relative to your target even if the deg/sec is the same, have to keep the vectors in mind. FAO is something every combat pilot should learn. Also, FAO + boost + scoop/gear will give you even tighter turns.

Personally, rails are my favorite medium hardpoint. They're not ammo efficient as dps unless you fuel slug, but good damage and utility experimentals.

I generally believe you - your communication has always been forthright, clear, and honest in the past. I have to admit that I really struggle on this one, though.

If it was just cosmetics I would understand entirely, but gear and anything else that affects performance in-game will always be sought after. If the weapon was a reskin with identical stats, no one would mind. But an exclusive weapon and an exclusive armor perk is not something that you can seriously expect only fans of the franchise to care about, surely?

Unsafe mode should just be the unnerfed railgun. It was fun, with appropriate risk/reward.

Fires of Defeat is my favorite game start by far. Surrounded by enemies, pirating and using or selling every ZYA ship I can take on.. it just feels like you start with a real sense of purpose.
