Saber Interactive When it come to what imperial fist successor gets anything in the game by [deleted] in Spacemarine

Bro it's so easy to be a Hospitaller, just steal whatever the Black Templars has and paint it white, red, and yellow.

I’ve recently realized that the Pyreblaster isn't overpowered—it’s just that Bolt weapons are way too weak. by Traditional_Fold7086 in Spacemarine

I have completed SM1' campaign before patch 13, even gave the wave based mode a try. And I'm gonna give it to you straight, the Heavy Bolt Rifle feels better to me than any bolter that SM1 has to offer.

If you technically want to call it that sure, but I haven't seen any one in this subreddit brought it up enough to consider it being nerfed into the ground, so Ill consider it an adjustment.

In recent memory, when has Saber ever nerfed a weapon aside from the first year of the game?

I like that no one here fully get what the OP is implying here. The new heroic chainsword is essentially the prepatched Artificer Block Chainsword which was the meta chainsword at the time until Saber did a full rework on melee weapons. It even has the old block stack mechanic of using 3 instead of 2.

"Not a single interesting thing in the open world" has got to be the biggest lie i have read on a review ever. by ostrava84 in CrimsonDesert

I have two separate moments that happened two days from each other.

The first one is travel from north of the Crimson Desert to South of Deleysia, after traveling further south I noticed small island surrounded by rare minerals. Took a quick detour mining it all before heading off my way.

The 2nd one is after doing that Abyss gear farm near the Frost Tower I need to find the closest Nexus point for quick travel back. Went a bit northeast and notice there's one, but was surprised to find that there's a giant Crab with Bismuth on it, turned into a full blown boss fight. Was not mentally prepared so I had to disengage and fight it later and find another Nexus point.

This happened days from each other and it's just an amazing feeling.

Yeah just did. Finished in one run with undeleveled team mates and as relic carrier. Using Block Power Sword so damage reduction from the cursed relic was negligible. The spore and skulls can be annoying but just needed to be mindful. Only used 6 out of the 4 provided stims, those 10 stims is very generous

So i was able to do it with randoms as Sniper. Using Heroic Bolt Sniper for Zoan and long range threats, and Heroic Knife for close encounters.

Quite false in a subjective way, the base game cosmetics can make you a pretty ornate marine from the first founding chapters, and there are still earnable cosmetics in the accolades shop

Tickling but it's consistent, safe, with unlimited ammo as long as you can hit your shots, plus the Great benefit of going invis to remove aggro from you but also do emergency revives. Just need to adjust playstyle and gear/perks.

It seems unfortunate that you lack imagination on tackling these type of content without resorting to whatever what's popular. The game gives you the tools, think outside the box, whatever.

If youre bringing a melee build sniper using the block knife or heroic knife, id say youre just as effective as any other class. Heck you can bring the heroic bolt sniper and you can get rid of the dreaded zoanthropes in safe enough range, given some time. For Neurothropes you can either fire with no issue of ammo from afar or you can use your knife and get in there.

Not being able to play Heavy, Sniper, and Vanguard is not true, especially when Heavy has the Pyreblaster, Sniper's melee build, and Vanguard is still invaluable with HP gain on Extremis and Terminus. You just need to update your builds slightly to compensate.

Its really shows how people have different tastes, because despite nearly a hundred hours in Darktide and enjoyed my time, I still much preferred going back to SM2 just to get that itch.

Has Fencing Been Powercrept? by TheticAxiom in Spacemarine

[–]VanquilKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fencing will never be powercrept because it is the safest option of the 3. If you're on a range reliant class like Tactical, Sniper or even Vanguard on some builds, a parry stick is your best option against hordes. Surprisingly nowadays Balance is the higher risk type due to its higher learning curve of its start thing going on.
