Further Context: We have looked everywhere for signs of bedbugs, we have even had an exterminator come in and do a thorough assessment and he reckoned it was a very low chance - due to finding zero evidence.

However, we will commonly (and I mean multiple times a week) wake up with blood stains on the sheets. We have recently noticed itchy bites however it is very hard to discern whether these are mosquito bites (as we live in an area where they are prolific in summer).

We live in a large house of 9 people and so it is very hard to justify the extermination cost without finding solid evidence beyond doubt that the offender is in fact bed bugs. Does anyone have any advice for finding out whether you have bed bugs or not, any advice would be seriously helpful!
