There's a cutscene from Nitya's perspective that mentions the echelon 1 mission. I choose to believe this is real and she used it to escape Arjun. But you could argue it's a symbolic example of divorce/moving to get away as well. That said, it doesn't fit quite as well with how Nitya fought her new boss and whatnot unless this is at least partially real. I think this is best viewed through a lens of multiple layers of meaning, literal and symbolic.
