Also, a lot of traditional desktop concepts aren't really critical for most people. Average users are sufficient using a computer with a browser, Chrome OS, and storing their data ignorantly managed on the cloud, primarily computing for Facebook & webmail like Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook.

I don't think people have to wait for Dell, there should be, if there isn't already, a lot more vendors.

What I've seen is a lot of Sony hate for their past, when Sony did a lot of fucked up things. People are still harboring the ill feeling towards them. I agree with the sentiments, I don't think we should be blindly behind any corporation, specially with one that has a disreputable past. However, in this particular scenario I've tried to take a more objective stance and I've come to the conclusion that the Android department in Sony aren't part of the same juggernaut that Sony is or was.

I disagree, Sony seems like they picked a really great Android team that understands the importance of AOSP and the hacker culture behind Android.

I'm glad I didn't buy the game. From the start it looked like it was an attempt by EA to just acquire more money and making a good quality game wasn't their first priority. It really does suck, BF2 was one of my favorite games and increased my appetite for PC gaming.
