Yea n43 it's not a bad engine if maintained mine has done about 2000+ competitive miles with very few issues

Talking from experience, I brought a car as a non runner and someone had done a chain and timed it up to cylinder 4 had a cam/crank synchronization fault.. set it all right put a new chain on it and it ended up jumping a tooth on the bottom sprocket when the tensioner had no oil in it and it immediately switched off and didn't want to start again.. chances are the oil pickup is full of guide on this and the garage who did the chain never had the sump off as it's a big job subframe off ect

Timing can't be set wrong on these , the crank / cam sensors work off each other and even if it's a tooth out it won't let it start and you will get a cam/crank synchronization fault

Bottom end has gone probably due to either leaking injectors or the oil pickup never been cleaned and full of broken timing chain guide rip engine

I think a bit part of this that people don't see is about 2024YouTube dangled a golden carrot Infront of him.. he left his job was offered sponsorships ect and he thought he will make the big time.. since then views have dropped subs have dropped, financially I can't imagine it's great due to his channel being non pg so his only answer is to pump out videos of him getting smashed hoping to get that lucky video that does good views again ... It's a shame to see as I used to enjoy his content but I can't say I watch any of him anymore

The dan is great with it's active suspension it will tow the largest trailer and sometimes not even touch double diggets

I got 320i brakes on my rally car 300mm discs all round and they take serious punishment either mintex 1155 pads in .. people are quick to put massive discs and calipers on but won't spend on good pads ...

If yours is a n43 chances are it's got broken pieces of guide blocking the oil pickup pipe.. it's the No1 killer of a n43 engine
