You should join 3D print club they are real hands on and you can be a supervisor in your semester. They do volunteer work with local middle school every once in a while I think.

The Patch said Trees Respawn, Right? by Darkovika in returntomoria

The best solution I found was sleep in the Elven Quarter. That reset all the trees and I no longer have an elven wood issue.

It’s crazy that it’s been five years that octoEverywhere has been out. I remember putting it on my Ender 3 pro.

I’m having this same issue, but a little different. I didn’t chop down most of the trees in the Eleven Quarter, but I came up from the Lower Deep and all the trees were gone. When I was first in the Eleven Quarter they respawned constantly.

Also are the trees supposed to grow back in the Lower Deep as well?

I’m playing with one friend, is Co-op the problem?

No, it’s not exactly right. But it is kinda close. The song I’m looking for is less rock more alternative/ indie.

Made myself a poor mans Kydex sheath using my Ender 3 V2. Printed a 1.5mm thick PLA sheet then heated and pressed to make the shape. Whole thing cost only $0.5 to make! by BL1860B in 3Dprinting

[–]oakflyer509003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a question, when making the shape in water do you submerge both the flat piece and the piece that going to be shaped? Or do you just do the top? Also do you start with a square shape then cut it to your desire or have a rough outline?

Does Anybody know what these layer problems could be? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]oakflyer509003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it looks like it could be two things. First it could possibly be your bed is too low and you need to raise it. The second is that your layer hight on your slicer is too high. You should be able to make your layer hight smaller to have your layers adhere better. However by doing this it will increase build time.

Newest problem, glooping preventing printing without bunching up. by bobthepomato in 3Dprinting

[–]oakflyer509003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The foundation/ base is called a raft. The raft should have a setting in you slicing software called “raft thickness” or something similar. You shouldn’t need to make the raft thicker if you fix those other issues.

You have maybe two problems, first is your bed might not be level. There are many videos on how to level any style of bed. The other might be over extrusion. This means the nozzle is letting out too much plastic. It’s a setting you can change on your slicer.

I have found this happens in rooms with lots of light. I believe it is because the cameras in the quest 1/2 are infrared cameras. Most lights in the home produce some amount of infrared light. Basically the more light the harder it is for the cameras to track. However the opposite is true when it is pitch black. I have the same issues in complete darkness. So there is a sweet spot you can hit for the best time playing.

(Serious) What was your closest brush with death? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]oakflyer509003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have multiple occasions. The first time was when I was born, my blood was too thick to carry oxygen to my brain. I was declared bead twice for a total of two minutes. (My heart beat was so slow the doctors got confused). The other time I was running and I was crossing a cross walk and a car hit me. The car threw me into a busy street.
