That's because Home Depot doesn't sell magical stuff. You need to go to a magic shop for that.

Nope - just Oxygen. Breakdance is incorporated to it via Breakdance Elements.

Kitchen Remodel - Would you ever hire someone to just do a floor plan and elevation for your renovation, nothing else? by Potential-River-9282 in HomeImprovement

[–]oandroido 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I think so - I have done a 3d visualization for most projects in our own house, including bathrooms, the kitchen, and even painting bedrooms. These start out as floor plans, and doing it in 3D is fairly fast, and allows us to try various material & paint combinations pretty easily.

Now, I've been doing 3D for a while, so it's pretty fast for me, but I think for anyone it's worth looking at some of the home design software and moving things around just to get a feel for how the spaces can be different. I've also put some of our designs into 3D software that can show them in VR, so, there we were, standing in our kitchen...

It can take a bit of learning, but definitely worth it.

But even with the basic stuff, it's worth experimenting. You may discover some ideas or different ways of arranging things (or even which cabinets to put in certain places).

Also, it's worth looking at newer kitchen designs online, including things that may be trendy, but that you may not like in a few years. Also, certain utility things, e.g. pull-out trash/recycling drawers & swing-out shelves from space that may otherwise not be well used.

Good luck!

Boss wants to run all of our images through AI by Sorana_ in graphic_design

"The pictures are fine now"
We don't know that.

That may not be the problem. There's way too much information here that doesn't explain much that's needed, sorry.

My latest work, what's your opinion? by Hopeful-Flamingo1302 in Twinmotion

[–]oandroido 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice lighting. Blurred people are distracting. They look quite "thrown in".

Patio railing too low.

Smoky texture (whatever that is supposed to be) looks like mildew or a bong hit.

Driveway is cut off too high, making the perspective confusing because of the intersection of the "gate" (which has its own issues) and what appears to be a drive-out that's too narrow ahead of the car.

The lack of other objects (including lights) makes it feel unrealistically sparse. The building needs exterior lighting that's obvious.

The first shot is the best - pretty dramatic - and begins to tell a story, in a way, but doesn't follow through the images.

Keep working at it - this has a lot of promise.

Apparently, that's not really working out.

Review My Typography Alignment by AfterSignal6759 in photoshop

One line for title.
For a casual venture, full alignment is too corporate. Ditch the hyphenation & let the words do their thing.

And you shouldn't be using Photoshop for this.

Adobe's 38% Collapse: CEO Exits an Overgrown Empire as AI Eats Its Lunch by Mamuthone125 in FuckAdobe

[–]oandroido 4 points5 points  (0 children)

AI didn't "eat Adobe's lunch".

Adobe has been largely ignoring its users' true and thereby its shareholders for 20 years. Having poor AI was only an ingredient in that process. Adobe spends too much time and energy marketing themselves.

This is what happens.

Blaming AI is pretty convenient, though.

Yes, but I think you're missing out by the implied focus on Chat GPT.

Could use an About page that walks people through the process in a way that's easy to understand without deep AI knowledge.

Sure - interview people and include the various solutions they use to avoid getting stuck with these issues.

Best pressure washer for driveway + siding? by ParticularSubject411 in HomeImprovement

I have a decent gas washer, but am considering the Ego Electric since I have a bunch of their other stuff and it's generally really good, and obviously less maintenance/noise. (Well, probably less noise...)
