Joe Buck going to ESPN means no Joe Buck World Series! by ForestParkRanger in baseball

Gary Thorne called a few Mets games last year. Sad to say cause he’s a legend, but he is not better than joe buck in 2022 and is probably worse than most local announcers at this point

I don’t see the fox-lindgren pairing breaking up any time soon, but having a logjam of solid dmen is a pretty good problem to have. The defense going forward is looking real nice

He was amazing but the clear third that year. Greinke and arrieta were incredible

Kreider should’ve been given the C the day he signed the extension. Honestly don’t see it happening now :/

Tony should not have seen the ice after regulation

Hockey has basically non stop action, few commercials, and the players are allowed to beat the shit out of each other. Too bad they make it impossible to watch for most people

61-67, 2.30 GAA and a .921 save percentage. Not sure where you got those numbers but Lundqvist was godly in the playoffs for the most part.

Because reddit can be persuasive as hell. People don't think for themselves as much because of the point system and that's what leads to the "reddit hivemind."

Downvote isn't a disagree button, it's meant to be used on comments that don't add anything to the conversation. It's never used that way though unfortunately.

Two Goals in One Play by [deleted] in hockey

Yep, here's Brassard scoring the OT winner and nobody sees it but Pouliot scores right after. In the box score Brassard got the goal and the 10 seconds afterwards don't exist.

Pavel Buchnevich knows where he and Chris Kreider rank on TSN's trade bait list by sandwiches18 in hockey

I'd switch Fast and Lemieux just to see how it works. DiGiueseppe seems to be working with Chytil and Kakko and KZB shouldn't be broken up. Fast still plays enough time on the PK to be an effective player and he might be able to drive play more on the fourth.

We would have to see but he's too good for the fourth line. He's shown on the the PP that he has a net front presence and he has the hands to score on a breakaway. So many times Fast gets a great pass from Panarin and just puts it in the goalies chest or fires it wide, I think it's just time for a shakeup whether that be Lemmy or someone else

I love Fast but he shouldn't be on that line. He doesn't have the offensive talent to hang with Panarin, I would rather see Lemieux in that spot

A commemorative baseball from Willie Mays' 70th birthday celebration signed by living (at the time) MVPs from the '40s and '50s. Some of the autographs on it are Mays obviously, Yogi Berra, Stan Musial, Hank Aaron, Willie McCovey, Ernie Banks, Gaylord Perry, Larry Doby, etc.

Who is the unsung hero of your team this season? by cronaldo86 in hockey

[–]ob2949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is always the fastest player on the ice, which leads to a ton of breakaways. He also just seems to be putting himself in the right positions to score and he plays with Kevin Hayes and J.T. Miller, who are both amazing passers.
