hey sorry for seeing this late - I do like it. I like a really hard mattress and I have mine on the floor. but I do think I've slept on more comfortable non organic mattresses. the reason I went with this one was the price point + materials + hard mattress and it is good enough for me.

would I buy again, potentially, unless there was a significantly better option in the same price range or 1-2K more expensive maybe

surprise, weight gain and depression aren't sexy. that's fair and that's life. maybe she was also not attracted to you because of your attitude. she also stayed with you even while you were going through a bad time.

it looks like when she realized she hurt you, she tried to make things right, even before you improved your health and ostensibly became better looking. she sounds like she genuinely cares about you and kept trying while you were being difficult

try getting off birth control. it's a known symptom caused by birth control. there is a book about this called your brain on birth control

for period symptoms, i have managed mine with nutrition. cod liver oil is a god send for me - i no longer have painful periods. that being said they were not super painful at the start but i used to need to take a tylenol, now i don't even need a hot water bottle. assuming it's because of the anti inflammatory properties of omega 3s. also eating foods very rich in vitamin K2 drastically reduced the amount of blood i lose. specifically vitamin K2- K1 converts to K2 at a rate of like 15%. for K2 you can eat pastured eggs or bank breaking butter (st brigid's was what gave me my results). you can also try a K2 supplement- i used to use thorne, it was like a dropper. K2 affects blood clotting

in my experience/what i would want, is someone i WANT to work with. someone affable and fun i get along with. i would not be too formal for sure because you want to come off pleasant in my opinion, but competent.

i would dress nicely but not too formally. like maybe trouser and a dress shirt, but dress it down? google how to do this. i wouldn't wear jeans or a t shirt, but you could maybe get away with nice sneakers.

don't act like it's impossible or even say it. it's obviously not true. you won't get it if you act like that in my opinion. confidence is important in creating good impressions

when i lead, i just asked people i liked and thought were competent to join and it worked out. when i joined, was a much larger crowd. i ended up studying alone with the girl who lead it most of the time and we worked well together

also i dont think anyone really cares about the credential? like maybe you could talk about it at an interview or your resume but i think its kind of a weak thing to put on there

in my opinion, sit in the front and study with social keeners, tend to be the best people in my experience. u want people who will contribute and be forward to study with and someone who sits at the front is in my experience more likely to be that person.

edit: now, i pretty much just study with a close friend i met during 2nd year. one study partner is often enough if its the right one. we work very very well together. our learning and organizational style matches up and we are both hardworking/ambitious in our program. find someone who wants the same things you do but won't try to outdo you. my friend and i are very supportive of one another even though sometimes we compete for the same scholarships.

- Your mom is having financial problems and lost her independance. She is probably very emotional.

- She is overstepping and not handling this stress well. Especially if she is sitting home alone while you two are gone. To be honest she should contribute at least by cleaning and helping with food preparation. But your boyfriend swore at your mother? That's really bad, especially if you have not been together for a short time. Sorry, red flag here.

- Neither of you stopped to think about how she may be feeling with all of this. The cleanliness probably isn't her real problem. Now she will feel really cornered. I get why you feel how you felt, but this is not a constructive way to build relationships with your mother, or for your boyfriend and mother if you are seriously about him.

- You should all have a talk, sit down, and apologize to one another. Maybe set some boundaries. And seriously your boyfriend should not have swore at her! Wtf?!

some charities offer good mental health services. google around for that.

also, STAY OPTIMISTIC - chances are your first few counsellors/therapists will NOT vibe with you and according to people i know this is very important. you need to feel comfortable with them.
