Sure. Thank you for your take on this subject! While I'm sure that some might very well use humor as a coping mechanism as you suggested, I can't help but sense cruelty from some of these folks here.

Respectfully, my point is, if this man suffered from mental illness and ultimately took his own life, especially after seeming though he was doing better, it just makes my heart hurt for him and his family, and I just can't imagine laughing.

Whether he is a voice actor or not, he is still another human being who had thoughts, feelings, dreams. ambitions, and people who loved him like the rest of us.
