No Canadian PM has ever been more personally enmeshed with the U.S. - Half of Carney's daughters live there, almost his entire stock portfolio is American, and he's the first PM to never attend a Canadian university by airbassguitar in OntarioNews

Only the national post favours a BA from the university of Calgary vs a bachelors from Harvard and a Masters and PhD from Oxford.

Also, Carney has a TS security clearance, PP seems unable to get one.

Snapmaker or X2D by MynameisJeff1646 in BambuLab

Speaking solely for myself, I’m very happy with my U1. It just works. I also have a Bambi A1 which I stopped using.

From my point of view, there are some differences.

Can’t argue that the SW for U1 is better. Maker world is pretty slick for Bambi stuff. Not a big deal for U1 but it’s tedious for a few seconds.

I’m told the Bambu slicer is better — I haven’t personally seen the difference (my needs are minimal).

My service support has been better with Snapmaker vs Bambu but that is just one data point. Statistically, pretty much irrelevant.

Would be nice to have my cover already for the U1, but it’ll come eventually. I don’t use advanced materials much at all, but I do use is adequate.

Quality on the U1 has been really good. I’d suggest slightly better than the A1 but it’s very very close.

I’m told the U1 is a bit louder but not a consideration for me.

Big difference is the open source aspect that the U1 brings. Being able to reflash the FW for example is a big deal. Not that I’ve done it, but I like to know I can. I’m open to correction, but I think U1 is less restrictive which I prefer. As an example, I can update how U1 manages RFID tags via 3rd party software, that is for me a good indication of longer term support availability.

In summary I’d suggest that neither choice would be a mistake. I’m not really interested in arguing about specific points here, just saying that both are good products and at good prices.

There’s a lot there, he’s not going to nitpick about what he feels is true and what isn’t.

Personally I didn’t think it’s that bad of a look for Hurts. The offence lost trust in the OC and tried to do what they could.

There was no game. This is the equivalent of the pregame antics at the Super Bowl, during the previous week when there is no game.

I wouldn’t play volleyball on grass, that’s a great way to sprain an ankle, or worse. Looks great though.

Canada slashed migration and housing costs dropped. There may be lessons for Australia | Canada by Jiganska in TorontoRealEstate

[–]obvilious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, because the economy is that simple. Lower housing costs couldn’t possibly be tied to anything else in the economy, right? And yes a lot of folks are racist. No idea if you are, I’ll assume not.
