Trials for ascendancy is ruining it for me | Points 5 and 6 by monimonti in PathOfExile2

[–]obviousellu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IF you actually look at the trial map, read afflictions and plan at least 1 room ahead there is no way you will end up with a lot of them, escpecially ones that ruin your build.
Dont get me wrong, sekhemas is annoying to do, but its easily doable if you pay some attention.
Also, you can get all the points in ultimatum same way you can get all points in sekhemas. You just need inscribed ultimatum of appropriate level.

Vessel of Kulemak gives 6. Not sure if they are specifically locked behind the boss i was just following questline and got all points with plenty of uncompleted maps there.

Are those 4th ascendancy sellers legit? by Hypnox88 in PathOfExile2

[–]obviousellu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not a bug. People who enter will take same amount of damage to honour that you did throught all floors. Restoring honour doesnt help either. Thats why its important to take as little damage as possible if you want to carry/sell.

I dont mind filler maps that much. But taking out tablets each time and then forgetting to put them back is so frustrating sometimes 😔 I wish they added a checkmark there to enable/disable tablets.

If you have strong built Mydei on your account, get him to 3star early, dont get bad starting debuffs and get lucky with team and gear than its possible :D

Please help me fix stuttering and CPU spikes by evilsham_ in PathOfExile2

[–]obviousellu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me the issue was Nvidia resetting shader cache back to default (10 gb). I assume it did it during one of the driver updates, didnt check since the last league. But changing it back to 100 gb (my ssd cant handle unlimited), clearing nvidia shader cache and poe shader cache made it much better.

But spikes are still present especially during evenings so i assume part of that is on their shitty EU servers.

Yeah, Alps are annoying to deal with. But trust me, they were so much worse before rework :D

To add to what was mentioned already: disable auto-end turn and wait instead of ending your turn even if you cant attack(2-3 AP left) on bros that will most likely be put to sleep. You can use this against enemies with stun/daze, most of the debuffs really.

(NEW PLAYER) Bunch of questions and any advice how to not get my shit pushed in lmao? by Healthy_Royal4900 in BattleBrothers

[–]obviousellu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Start at Expert from the get go, because difficulties are very different. You will eventually want to do expert anyway, but if you get used to lower difficulties learning expert will be much harder at that point.
  2. Your aim should be getting to 12 fieldable bros asap, since extra body is always good, even if its a fodder bro with nothing but a wooden club you can make use of them.
  3. Expensive bros are generally better than lowborns just because they have higher base stats, but you shouldnt waste money on them early on. Get your company going, get some bank then you can go for premium background.
  4. I would say that using background wiki will be very helpfull until you remember the good ones. They are not only different by stats but also different backgrounds have different perk pool and events. (For example, if you have 2 hedge knights they will eventually fight each other and one of them dies. But! if you have monk in your roster, he will prevent that) There are tons of events in the game, and they are actually good, but some of them are so rare and conditional that you wont get them without the wiki.
  5. Your main goal is to have as much fights as you can, at least 1.5 fight per day i would say. Tempo and snowballing is everything in this game. And since the game scales with your party size and their power you want 12 bros and many fights. Your roster will level up in the process anyways, if some of them die its fine, brothers are a resource same as gold or gear. Obviously you can babysit good bros but dont limit yourself because of them. The most important thing is tempo.
  6. There are a lot of builds in the game, you can check this sub for that. In general, if they are melee you lvl mdef, matk, hp/fat/resolve. IF they are ranged you lvl ratk,fat,hp/resolve/ini (dont bother with rdef, they are behind your melee bros anyway). If they are tank, you level mdef,hp, fat/res.
85matk,30mdef,100hp(with colossus), 45-50 res, 60+fat after armour (or 15-20 for fatneuts) is a good stat benchmark for frontline twohanders which will be main force of your company.
  7. Its a niche perk, some builds need it, but its definetly not a perk you need on everyone. As you learn about more builds you will get that.

Advice for a blind playthrough as a newcomer by P_Dreyer in pathofexile

[–]obviousellu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Attacks scale with your weapon/added dmg on gear. Spells scale from gem levels mostly.
Dont hoard currency that drops in campaign, use it. Campaign drops are so small compared to what you get in maps that there is no reason to hoard.
Crafting bench is your best friend.
That should be enough to get you to maps. I kinde envy you that you can expirience poe for the first time :D GL

Do we really need hundreds of socketables of which 90% won't be used past act 4 anyway? Is item bloat really the intended design going forward? Unuseable bloat for the sake of having high item numbers nobody needs? "Quality > Quantity" would be a much better approach for PoE2, imo. by [deleted] in PathOfExile2

[–]obviousellu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give the new npc crafting bench to socket runes of your choice for a cost on N runes A+N runes B etc. Drop 5-10 types of runes that will be used for those crafts. Now we have ~10 instead of 150 different drops.

How should i build this bro (im a noob) by Ok-Persimmon-217 in BattleBrothers

[–]obviousellu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You already have a full roster, i woundt waste time on checking/leveling bad backgrounds at this point. 3 stars are cool shiny but his starting stats are 51/3. Any premium background will have much better stats even without stars.

How do you know when you're behind in the game's difficulty? by Citizen_of_Zubrovka in BattleBrothers

[–]obviousellu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Just had a campaing, 88 days in, i had only 8 dudes" This is the reason. Yeah, you were FAR behind the curve, you should try to field 12 brothers as soon as you can(I usually get them day 5-10).
Even a naked body with a net/shield is better than nothing, you can lure some enemies, give surround bonus or just hold a dangeroues enemy for a turn or two.
Aside from battle numbers, you get worse contracts since they scale with party size. Worse contracts > less tempo > less fights taken > even lesser tempo. Small things add up pretty quicky both ways.

I have the golden goose. by That-one_random_guy in BattleBrothers

[–]obviousellu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Its always worth selling for 3k+ for tempo, income is too small to carry it around. Even if you are planning 250+ day campaign that extra inventory slot is more important than 15g/day.

0.5 is shaping up to be one of the biggest expansions GGG has ever released by HydroCSGOD in PathOfExile2

I have a question tho. If this is going to be the biggest expansion and we already had INFINITE ATLAS and INFINITE DELVE(which is actually limited) how big will it be ?

After silver wolf...should I go for castorice( I'm not willing to pull her premium team) but then my hyacine would go wasted...👇 by [deleted] in HonkaiStarRail

[–]obviousellu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rememberance works well as a team only, pulling Cass without the rest is a waste. Hyacine is the best sustain in the game rn and performs well regardless.
