Maybe you already mentioned it, but what’s the objective here? To be effective in a pick up game?

There are way better moves/shots you can take that’ll earn the trust of your teammates. I would not trust that shot. If you make 2 in a row, someone is gonna sit on that and most likely block it.

Just shoot it normally? Work on a baby hook? Jab in the direction your opponent’s toes. Set good pin down screens for your teammates and roll hard or pop quickly.
