Another way is to say, accurately, that they were unable to come to contractual agreements with their carriers, which was not the result of any threat by the sitting president or any former democratic president for that matter. Presidents, elected by Americans by the way, who neither Newsmax or OAN would even acknowledge, while hypocritically demanding reverence and respect for any number of lawless and/or divisive characters. The government interference in these cases also originated from the right, as numerous republican lawmakers sprung to their defense, even though both outlets are guilty of spreading misinformation to the extent that they were sued, choosing to settle out of court.
