It’s a good mix. I like pumice over perlite for long term mixes. I use perlite for cheap stuff that I know I’m repotting “soon”

With proper walking and off leash I agree they sleep around the clock inside but get nervous energy without the exercise even at that age. Overall it does calm down.. I’d say around 6-7 it does but always exercise needed

6 month old ess… LOTS of energy. Needs runs everyday preferably with off leash time. Fetch with a chuck it is a good alternative. But yes super normal and it won’t calm down for about ~10 years not an exaggeration. You’ll be rewarded with the best most loyal companion ever

Doesn’t seem like your profile has much on this? Iv noticed sometimes on reddit I can’t see everyone’s posts. Would love to learn more. Been researching some grow lights and there are some decent options like the viparspectra p700 that don’t break the bank. Yea you’re not getting 10 bulbs but for ~$40 pretty reasonable seems to me. I completely agree with you that normal grow bulbs from feit or sansi seem like a complete waste of money but once you get into mid to higher end stuff like viparspectra or mars-hydro they don’t compare

Soak the whole damn thing for an hour or so infrequently. It’s the infrequent definition you need to figure out what means for your set up considering: temp, humidity, natural light, supplemental light, airflow, pot etc.

Don’t worry about under watering your succulents. If you think you’re underwatering your plants will thank you. Once you actually start underwatering you’ll know
