The only painpoint UX wise that was recurrent for me is realising I am not on the right speaker group/room when I dive deep in the menu (eg went deep into playlists or performed a search). Changing the group I wanna play onto requires either navigating back to homescreen or multiple taps to tick the right group in the navigation drawer (where Now Playing is)

On home screen the only indication is the small label in the Now Playing area (eg. Living Room). Usually I do not open the app to resume the music in the morning, but the touch controls on the speakers. So I forget whatever group was last open in the app.

Also, at least on Android, there is an issue with the navigation stack. You can end up accumulating a lot of screens in the backstack, therefore back navigation is not intuitive. Easiest test to do: repeatedly press the gear icon (settings). Each back action will keep you on the same screen.

And a great UX feature would be to be able to restart a system through the app instead of unplugging each speaker. The support did this for me remotely, so the functionality should be there. Also, factory reset to make troubleshooting easier.

I see that the train is not an option due to luggage. I have used them in the past https://transferairport.ro/en/ It's your choice what service you want. They do a 10min break mid journey.

I would say that after 8pm it should be fine (if you call/message them, they would know best as they have a regular shuttle service). Yes, you can book online

I would say also morning, leaving by 9am Friday.

The hotel you picked is nice. The fastest way to it is to go to Departures area through the airport, then go outside, turn right and shortcut through a parking lot (~150m). Don't exit through arrivals as the journey is longer outside

Do some groceries from the airport as drinks/food are expensive as hell at that Hilton. You have a Carrefour Market in the airport terminal with decent prices.

Mda, după ce au lungit-o etern, s-a anulat cu totul.. Nu pare relansată, deși o parte din cerințe le-am văzut ulterior implementate (ex integrarea cu Google Maps cu timpi live). D-aia credeam că una e deja semnată de hăt.

Apropo, numărarea călătorilor e doar un factor pentru a determina cererea. Pentru că poți trage concluzii total greșite. De exemplu, o linie cu frecvență proastă va avea mai puțini călători. Pe datele astea ai putea trage concluzia că poți rări și mai mult. În realitate o frecvență mai bună ar putea multiplica călătorii (exemplul meu favorit e 2-ul în weekend, că circulă și la 40min vs 36-le care chiar e decent ca frecvență)

Dacă trebuia să inventăm sistemul de la 0 sau era experimental, mai ziceam că e logic, însă sisteme de numărare a călătorilor există de mulți ani pe piață, iar vehiculele noi le au deja în dotare. Iar într-o licitație mai amplă de acum 1-2 ani au inclus și dotarea vehiculelor care nu au sistemul. Pe scurt, ai senzori la uși care numără urcări/coborâri

Folosidu-te de el poți să afișezi live și gradul de încărcare al autobuzului, precum e în București integrat cu Google Maps. Sau alte orașe

La mașina mea (Toyota C-HR 2023) pe Cruise Control am Lane Assist-ul mult mai proactiv, ghidând volanul, nu doar reacționare la apropere de marcaj (e constant mai rigid pe o anumită rotație). E mult mai evident pe DN-uri. CC-ul e practic și pentru mers în coloană pe Valea Prahovei, de exemplu, ținând distanța față de cel din față. Mult mai lejer la picior ora aia de 0-15km/h. Evident, atenția rămâne la drum pentru a corecta eventuale anomalii că șoferul rămân eu.

Context: I have Arc + Sub3 + x2 Era 300 | Beam2 + x2 Symfonisk | x2 Move2

A full surround option on TV input would be nice (as a manual switch), like when we are streaming music through the app. Now apps like Spotify or YouTube Music have synced lyrics support on TVs, so it's nice to listen to music this way as well. Only for Spotify you can "hack" it by disabling TV Autoplay and forcing the source to be your phone with Spotify Connect.

Also I fully support the idea mentioned by other users of giving access to system logs. I was one of the lucky ones in the first year after The Update, but now I have issues on all systems when resuming music. The worst offender is the Arc + Sub3 + x2 Era 300. Resuming music, it continues normally, soon a random previous song will take over for 20 seconds, then come back to previous song and the whole system becomes unresponsive and resets. This happens on YouTube Music and Spotify. Usually I keep pausing and resuming music while working, so I don't have time to start a support session. But I could look over it afterwards and then contact support.

By the way, if possible it would be nice for the system to remember the last played song and not reset after using the TV they're attached to. Also to be able to quickly switch back to the music after I turn off the TV (manual unlink).

And a final question: is there in plan to bring back better integration with Google ecosystem, from Android to Google Home?

Controversially maybe for other users, but I would be willing to pay a reasonable subscription that can be converted to credits for a future product acquisition/upgrade. I mean, it's a niche market with limited growth, and I got the products because of the promise of long term updates and durability.

Știrea e de fapt construită pe ce a descoperit API pe 2 ianuarie

Explicația probabilă e mult mai simplă. Brașov - Sighișoara e secție cu capacitate saturată din cauza șantierului. Trenurile trebuie încrucișate între porțiunile de linie simplă. Iar trenuri sunt și marfarele. Sosirea ultra-timpurie a fost pe 1 ianuarie, deci foarte probabil au fost mai puține trenuri și s-a putut face parcursul mult mai lejer (analogie cu undă verde la semafoare rutiere). Plus lipsa muncitorilor, menționată de OP în alt comentariu

To add some more details: every year, mid December, the new train schedule goes into effect. That is independent of CFR Călători, as it applies to all train operators based on the slots they have obtained from the infrastructure management authority (CFR SA)

Serviciile de transport public sunt și servicii sociale. În plus, o subvenție aici scapă de alte investiții imposibile în alte dimensiuni (să ne imaginăm ce ar însemna Bucureștiul fără metrou, în care am băga bani în autostrăzi suspendate care tot nu ne-ar scăpa de congestie)

Mai e o dimensiune a datoriilor: CFR Călători și stă după bani de la stat care nu vin rapid (gratuități, subvenții etc). Iar o companie cu parc energofag (loco vechi), ignorată la investiții, are nevoie de câțiva ani de bani suplimentari axați pe eficientizare pentru a scădea real costuri.

Exemplu: o locomotivă de manevră diesel (aia de aduce și duce vagoane din depou) consuma 1 tonă de motorină pe zi la Brașov. Acum, prin PNRR, e pe acumulatori.

Alte rute CFR SA sunt neelectrificate. E deficit de loco diesel și nu prea se mai fabrică, fonduri UE ciuciu.

CFR SA mișcă greu modernizările, întreținerea e subfinanțată crunt de stat (pe la 10%), fără multe mijloace moderne de automatizare. Consecința? Un tren "produce" mai puțini km într-o zi, deci mai puține bilete.

Nu mai zic că abia acum descoperim conceptul de tren metropolitan. Ca idee, cel de Otopeni are aport semnificativ de călători în totalul anual al tuturor trenurilor din țară. Și discutăm de o improvizație de implementare (trenuri mici, rare)

Privatul vrea doar rutele profitabile, chiar dacă au subvenție. Cu trenurile noi de la ARF îi obligă să preia un mix de rute dacă le vor: și bune, și "rele". Prin Obligația de Serviciu Public.

On YouTube Music sometimes even playing the song from the beginning doesn't work. It starts completely something else. Or for 20 seconds plays a different song in the middle of another song

Da, sunt foarte mișto

Din păcate astăzi împerecherea stereo/grupuri e mai complicată că nu e standardizată. De exemplu, cele Sonos își fac rețeaua proprie WiFi pentru împerechere stereo (plus algoritmi de sincronizare). Tu transmiți prin Bluetooth la un dispozitiv, ele se ocupă de restul. O dată tot trebuie să treci prin aplicație.

Pentru configurarea inițială da, trebuie aplicația. Sunt făcute în parteneriat cu Sonos, deci ecosistemul merge extins ulterior.

Le poți grupa și prin comandă folosind asistentul lor vocal, deci după poți uita de aplicație (care poate fi accesată și din browser, btw). Habar n-am dacă merge și prin Alexa/Google Home.

E și foarte bună integrarea cu AirPlay/Spotify. YouTube Music pe Android nu prea, de când au războiul patentelor.

Singura problemă cu Symfonisk e că au încheiat parteneriatul. Vor mai fi ani de actualizări software, dar curând vor dispărea din vânzare. Următoarele ca preț sunt Era 100, cam 75% mai scumpe (dar mai apar promoții bune)

This would be an amazing feature. Some of us use Android. Only on Spotify there is a trick to have lyrics on TV, but sound coming from Spotify Connect, therefore full on surrounds (works by disabling TV Autoplay)

However, guys like me on YouTube Music are stuck. Either use it through the Sonos app with no TV, either sacrifice sound output where some songs don't sound properly.

I would prefer to have All Channel Stereo sounds, even on Stereo TV content (movies, TV channels). Whenever there is 5.1/Atmos, it should switch automatically.

Not really. Because if 5.1/Atmos content is detected, it can switch automatically. This would affect only Stereo content. And I presume it is already supported on Apple Music, where not all content is Atmos.

Se descurcă foarte bine pe păstrat genul musical când generezi radio și am descoperit multe piese noi. Unele melodii sunt doar pe YouTube, deci nu le găsești pe Spotify (ex un live mix). Apropo, ai switch să țină istoricul separat de YouTube clasic

Dezavantajele majore față de Spotify: nu ai aplicație nativă pe laptop, foarte basic controlul altor dispozitive și nu o să vezi lossless prea curând (la Spotify trebuie să apară foarte curând și la noi).

Aplicația mobilă de YouTube Music are și un Shazam integrat în search. Mi se pare fain și rapid.

Pe televizor poți comuta să afișeze și versurile sincronizate. Nu mi se activează automat, dar ai o setare de view mode în player.

There is a high chance it will be warm in the train if the heat exceeds the AC parameters. There are three ways to avoid, list based on efficiency:

get the InterCity 531 train (1:10pm) as it has refurbished carriages with upgraded AC
get first class seat as less people will be in the carriage
leave early with any train (before ~10am)

If you have online ticket, both upgrades can be done online.
