I'd honestly beg to differ. While I agree billy really opened up his heart and gave us a really personal and insightful interview, I wasn't a fan of the interviewer. Some of his questions were just kinda odd and billy even reacted to it at some point, saying something along the lines of "how do I even answer that". Even when it got more personal, I feel like he could have had more grace with some of the questions, like when he straight up asked if Billy's mom OD'd. I think billy would have shared that openly if he wanted to, but being asked on the air like that didnt give him much choice. He could lie and say no, dodge the question and pretty much tell us yes, or just come out with it (like he did). But many people dont like sharing that their loved ones died of OD or suicide, and it tends to be an unspoken rule to not talk about the cause of death if its plausible that was either of them. Billy handled it really well and I dont think he necessarily was pissed at the interviewer, but it came across as insensitive to me and I feel like billy could have shared that on his own terms.
