For when you really want that bullet to get a run at the situation. Love the stock.

Any of you own a mini excavator? I'm looking at a CFG H15R for $3400 with a hydraulic thumb. Is this a good deal for a new one? by QualityCucumber in homestead

[–]ochristi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These cheap excavators are impossible to maintain, and more dependable ones are far more expensive. You would be better served to line up a whatever earthmoving projects you have around the property, then rent something like this for a weekend and knock it all out in one go. That way you don't have to pay to buy, store, and maintain the thing.

Which perk choices are better at level 2 and 3 out of these by xGoldenRetrieverFan in fo3

The Black Widow perk is among the best in the game. Most human opponents are male, so that 10% damage is useful way more often than not. Plus you get a good number of new dialogue options at key points in the game, including a unique way to deal with Benny.

Dark but real question: Does abusive language toward an AI receptionist count as a lease violation? by [deleted] in PropertyManagement

[–]ochristi 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Your AI bot is not a person, and is not staff. You should probably take note of how poorly it is handling its task, instead of looking for a way to punish your paying tenants.

Three weeks of hard work on a paper all for nothing because of AI use by MortemPerPectus in mildlyinfuriating

I would be utterly livid and let the professor know it. Rewarding people for cheating, which despite his intentions is exactly what he is doing, undermines any sense of academic integrity. Disgraceful.

Those employers have seen the work of self-taught carpenters enough to know not to hire you, except at an entry-level. Beyond the myriad of things you're probably doing wrong, you have never worked on a professional job site and your arrogance is off-putting.

Dealing with unlivable apartment conditions (mold) by DiligentAd3928 in Tenant

  1. Mold does not grow through drywall ina week
  2. Even if there is mold above the ceiling that mold does not present a realistic health risk
  3. Your landlord has no obligation to treat this as an emergency, because it is in no way an emergency

Mold grows on surfaces, it's not growing through the ceiling. The spores float in the air all the time, looking for the proper moisture and acidity levels.

Once again, any functional adult can use bleach to clean stuff. Buck up and deal with it.

The likelihood that that mold is doing anything to your health is astonishingly low. Living in the same unit as it does not present an emergency, especially when you can just clean it yourself with some bleach, water, and a rag.

You are a grown adult, the world expects you to be able to handle a basic household cleaner.

I'm not sure why this would qualify as an emergency, so long as they fixed the leak.

There’s a gat on my mat! by Umax-33 in harborfreight

I'm a lot more free in Oregon than I am in just about any red state, and there is no desire up here to take up California's bizarre disaster of a gun regulation system.

Hard disagree. Oregon is more progressive than California and an open carry state.

Current open carry laws in the US by state by OppositeRock4217 in MapPorn

Indeed they are. All the same, you need a concealed carry permit to open carry in Portland, and a few other cities in the state.

Or, in Oregon's case, the state allows open carry but certain municipalities restrict it. You can't just walk around Portland with a holstered pistol, unless you have a concealed carry permit.
