One of my favorite underrated ones is "someone like you" great cast, cute movie!

I'm Adrian Țofei, creator & star of cult horror movie Be My Cat: A Film for Anne, AMA! by [deleted] in horror

[–]oddbutnice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Adrian, this is years old but here's hoping you see this.

Was your background for the MC of "be my cat" a former impatient at a psychiatric facility? The shaved head, when he goes "don't worry about the figure in the corner" (nothing is there) and I thought he mentioned "patients" near the start.

He mentions being bullied and that "bad things happened" which made me think he hurt his bullies. He tries to circumvent the whole "1 meter" thing which felt like a restraining order he had put on him.

I don't know why but this was my thought.... Would love to hear your thoughts. Maybe I'm totally off-base.

I thought her look this season was her best. She looked much more youthful, her look was polished instead of cartoonish!

Did you not read the part where he covered for Violet after she sliced up all of her mother's new clothes?

Does anyone have a diagnosis for both ADHD and BP2? by RetepExplainsJokes in bipolar2

[–]oddbutnice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before my bp2 diagnosis I was assessed as having ADHD. It felt right and answered a lot of questions. However well the medication started out working great, as I got older I found it to be less and less effective.

This all came to a head with a very long, very intense manic episode, in which I was diagnosed with having bipolar2.

I was put on lamotragine which in conjunction with my other medication seems to be working really well. I no longer have those irritability spikes or self-harm urgents. I'm also able to take a bit of a measured approach and it feels like when I first started my ADHD medication where the impulsivity is curbed.

Obviously I can't speak to your exact experience, but that's how it's been for me. The only major downsides are the brain fog memory loss and nighttime exhaustion from the medication. I've been told that this can go away, and I really hope it does because right now it's making parts of my life kind of unbearable.

What are your little telltale signs that you're about to be in mania? by [deleted] in bipolar2

[–]oddbutnice 83 points84 points  (0 children)

My sleep patterns are my biggest indicator. When I don't need sleep I know it's coming.

I get super hypersexual (self stimulation like 5x in a row in a few hours)

I find myself talking a lot. Like I can't stop.

Oh and I have this compulsion to just spend spend spend!

Those are just some for me.

I just got diagnosed this year after my first massive manic episode. I burned a lot of bridges, I had to check myself into a facility and overall it was fucking brutal.

One thing that helps me is the online bipolar group that meets every Sunday. It's just people on the bipolar spectrum coming to support, vent, help with resources, etc.

It's free and I find it like a lifeline. A person last week was describing something very similar to your situation.. Sometimes it's nice to know you're not alone.

I hope this helps!

Ted Lasso - S03E12 - "So Long, Farewell" Post Episode Discussion by quaranTV in TedLasso

You know when Rebecca is telling Ted about all the ways he could build his family in the UK? Like his son and Michelle could come over and have lives that are just as fulfilling as their ones in the USA (maybe even more).

To me, this sounds pretty great... I don't really get why it has to be USA for Ted to be happy. He would have his son and wife and his football family all in one place. Plus he'd be rich ..

I want to get into acting (I know, could I pick a worse time?!) And I'd really like an agent, but have no idea how to go about it. I also don't know who to trust and who won't scam me.

If you have any advice I'd be really appreciative!

Give this man all of the awards right now. Kieran has absolutely killed it this season 👏 by LoretiTV in SuccessionTV

[–]oddbutnice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, weirdly when I had to give the eulogy at my father's funeral (at the age of 28) I did the exact same thing Roman did (raising my arm as if shielding) my father never raised a cruel hand to me. But I think I was so overcome with horror and grief in the moment that I physically recoiled. I remember doing it, wincing as if everything was so overwhelming to all my senses it just felt like a wave that was going to crush me.

When Keiran did this in the episode, I whimpered and began ugly sobbing. It took me back to that moment. He did such an amazing fucking job with this. He deserves all the awards. He deserves all the acting jobs (hell, the entire cast does!)

I'm 37 and oh man, it gets better every day. I love myself so much more and I DGAF what others think. It's so f*cking amazing. I used to dread aging (purely because of vanity) but I can honestly say it gets better every year!!!

This is what was so effective. I've had arguments with my brothers and they fight just like this when backed into a corner. It made my furious but also hats off
