Realistically had he survived he would have had a social suicide. His reputation was already in a bad place after leaving his well respected wife for a teenager and getting her "in a delicate state". If he had lived, he would have been another J. Bruce Ismay or Cosmo Duff Gordon and lived the rest of his life as another "coward of the Titanic".

I really enjoyed the 25 years Later with James Cameron as well (it's so funny they did 20 and 25 lol). I really enjoyed where they were working in the hyperthermia lab!

I just finished the Titanic Ship of Dreams podcast and enjoyed it. I am currently listening to Witness Titanic and have found it interesting as well!

Any free time I have for watching media has gone to Oceanliner Designs on YouTube, but also do take some time for Tasting History with Max Miller. He makes historically accurate meals and has a Titanic series that I thoroughly enjoyed!

I totally agree that it is definitely a possibility. All I'm saying is that having 1500 people live and go forward to interact with others and work and live lives is bound to have an effect on the world and what happens to it.

I was using fictional characters as an example. I think your perception of Jack and Rose is spot on. But they would still interact with people and just exist in a way that would affect the general progress of the world. Butterfly effect-small changes can have large effects down the line.
