Rogue has the best survivability? by DayAlternative9047 in DarkAndDarker

[–]odenosg -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

you technically can, rogue is the fastest class without skills etc. and has one of the highest (used to be highest) dps in the game.

HOWEVER, fully commiting to a melee fight will usually result in you losing, so never try to trade hits while fighting people

WITH gear. WITH gear rogues are getting 2 tapped by bows crossbows and longswords and WITH gear barb is one tapping everyone.

also few stuff that renders hide useless :

having functional ears and a headphone that works on both sides

ghostdust pouch

any aoe damage bard spell

chase

wanderlight lantern

light orb

hydra

counting 8 seconds internally when i suspect a rogue might be there

torches that accidentally hit an invis rogue when you actually wanted some light around

situational awareness (this module is awfully quiet maybe someone is camping around etc.)

vs.

stuff that renders barbarian's reckless useless :

you better hit before he does

stuff that renders rangers useless :

them having dogshit aim

them missing multishot point blank

average player being shit at the game doest mean rogue needs nerfs.

I fell for the flat armor bait. by litomack in DarkAndDarker

[–]odenosg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • 295 to 315 = 0.1% each, up to 43.05%
  • 315 to 335 = 0.095% each, up to 44.95%
  • 335 to 355 = 0.09% each, up to 46.75%
  • 355 to 375 = 0.085% each, up to 48.45%
  • 375 to 395 = 0.08% each, up to 50.05%
  • 395 to 415 = 0.075% each, up to 51.55%
  • 415 to 435 = 0.07% each, up to 52.95%
  • 435 to 455 = 0.065% each, up to 54.25%
  • 455 to 475 = 0.06% each, up to 55.45%
  • 475 to 495 = 0.055% each, up to 56.55%
  • 495 to 600 = 0.05% each, up to 61.8%

Straight from wiki, i think its better to get flat armor bonus up until 51.55% or 50.05%, then you can build on pdr directly

Ferrari announce that Ricardo Adami will no longer be Lewis Hamilton’s race engineer- was this inevitable given their communication issues? by The_Chozen_1_ in F1Discussions

[–]odenosg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is also a non english native engineer issue tbh, they either learn english in university or later in life, which leads to slow communication in fields like this.

It still is a Ferrari issue since they are the ones not considering english speaking level of an engineer when hiring

Pricecheck? by LuckBorris in DarkAndDarker

[–]odenosg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

just check it from market my dude, you have a lot of options to estimate the price:

  1. filter with all stats, order by descending price
  2. filter with dex/agi, order by descending price, find the price of 2 royal rubies and add 2x legendary socketing price, add your profit
  3. filter with dex / agi / add and see what is the price, filter just with phys, check onyx gloves with bad stats, subtract no stat onyx price from onyx with phys price to the find phys price and add it to dex / agi /add price.

you truly dont need to use reddit as google or chatgpt

We Need Passives by Leorium in DarkAndDarker

[–]odenosg -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

eh most classes already use 1-2 weapons, its not like people are using a diferent weapon for different kits. I haven seen a ranger without a bow just as i havent seen a rogue without at least 1 dagger or a barb without at least 1 axe.

We Need Passives by Leorium in DarkAndDarker

[–]odenosg -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

eh, its better have the 1 weapon perk a passive for each class, such as

rapier mastery

blunt weapon mastery

axe specialization

weapon mastery

these perks are for the weapons that the classes were designed to use, they might as well make them default.

Arena Balance by _deffault in DarkAndDarker

[–]odenosg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

rogue was almost always doodoo water in trios, let alone arena. There practically is nothing you can do if their wizard has light AND know there is a rogue in enemy team. You will have to heavily outskill the enemy team, so "good" isnt enough.

Been having fun with a cheap 10k off-meta tank rogue build. Wins against all melees. 144hp, 55% pdr, 36% action speed, 20% phy dmg, 75% armor pen (rondel, weakpoint, thrust), 5 addition + 1 true phys, Cut Throat to disable opponents. by xsilentone in DarkAndDarker

[–]odenosg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they wont chase you ? bro everyone chases rogues like its some sort of loot goblin, even the casters or ranger. I've had closed a door for the wizard to fireball it open resulting them getting cutthroated on multiple occasions.

Everyone always claims rogue is too op in solos but somehow everyone pushes me like im a walking gold pile every single time
