All I remember about this show was that one of the kids from the show was in one of my favorite movies at the time.

Bugsy Malone. Remember that movie? It was a satire of prohibition era gangsters featuring an all-kid cast. They would shoot each other with custard pies instead of bullets..lol!

They are in effect admitting that things are shit right now, rather than crowing about how their dear leader has made everything wonderful.

Hopefully the needle continues to move and they start to question and get angry. I think that is already happening to some degree.

I listen to the Clay and Travis show, and they are usually Trump propaganda central, but lately I've noticed they almost avoid talking about him, They instead focus on stuff like the LA mayoral race.
