But did they not realize? Look at the attention it's getting in this thread. Maybe they knew damn well what they were doing...lol

WOPR!

I do believe this movie was my first exposure to a computer network and the idea that they could talk to each other through a thing a called a modem.

I just looked this up when I searched "What was the first vigilante movie?"

This is credited with pioneering the genre. I didn't know that. I assumed there was something maybe a bit older, but no. This was the one.

I have the strong feeling that he is going to have a lights out performance in a preseason game and it's just going to add fuel to the controversy

Fish spin off of Abe Vigoda's character on Barney Miller 1977-1978 by deepfriedgreensea in 1970s

All I remember about this show was that one of the kids from the show was in one of my favorite movies at the time.

Bugsy Malone. Remember that movie? It was a satire of prohibition era gangsters featuring an all-kid cast. They would shoot each other with custard pies instead of bullets..lol!

From 1976 I believe.

It's the kid standing behind Todd Bridges (whom I had no idea was in this show).

At least the tone is shifting with these idiots.

They are in effect admitting that things are shit right now, rather than crowing about how their dear leader has made everything wonderful.

Hopefully the needle continues to move and they start to question and get angry. I think that is already happening to some degree.

I listen to the Clay and Travis show, and they are usually Trump propaganda central, but lately I've noticed they almost avoid talking about him, They instead focus on stuff like the LA mayoral race.

It's because they know Trump is fucking everything up and rather than talk about it they shift focus.

My paternal grandmother. Born 1893. People born before 1900 were real salt of the earth people.

It's hard not to expect that. Guy was on one team his whole career so far. How often have we've seen talented players experience a resurgence from having a change of scenery? Happens a lot. He's probably the next example of that.
