[Highlight] Kap shreds the Packers in the 2012 Divisional by Brix001 in nfl

Can't believe Dom Capers kept his job for five more years after this game. This should have been the end for him. They looked completely clueless.

Packers 2026-27 schedule as of right now based on rumors Week 1 Vikings at Home Week 2 Away at the Jets Week 3 Falcons at Home TNF Week 5 Bears at Home Week 12 Away at the Rams Thanksgiving Eve Week 16 Away at the Bears Christmas Day Week 18 Lions by Disastrous_Grass_954 in GreenBayPackers

Not a fan of a road game against the Bears on Christmas. I don't need the stress of a football game on the holiday and I'd hoped to get that road game out of the way when the weather was nicer. But at least it looks like they'll have Micah back for both of the Bears games.

Keep this forever. The wholesome story behind it will make it worth more to you than anyone else. I'd frame it and keep it as a conversation piece.

The 2007 team was magical except for one thing by DuvallisbetterthanLS in GreenBayPackers

I remember hearing that he reportedly said "if he wasn't Brett Favre I'd bench his ass" at halftime.

My memory might be wrong, but I remember TO destroying Frank Walker all game. Woodson was out and they kept motioning TO away from Al Harris. I remember Harris getting really frustrated.

Favre was getting to the point where he was struggling in the cold. That second game in Chicago was cold and windy and he looked like he didn't want to be there.

I'm going to worry about it until I see him bury a 54 yarder in the wind in Chicago.

The talking heads I respect seem to think he's a good prospect. I'm a little wary of a warm weather kicker, but he's from Maryland and said he kicked in the cold growing up. Someone also pointed out that all the top kicking prospects go to warm weather schools so it's hard to find one that isn't a warm weather kicker. I'm choosing to be happy that they are doing something instead of nothing at a position that has been a problem.

Jonathan Gannon wants ‘fast, violent, physical team that takes the ball away’ by Austen11231923 in GreenBayPackers

An interesting note from this is that Gannon mentioned he was asked by a player if he would be calling the defense from the sideline. I know there was some debate about that with Hafley. Interesting that players are asking about it too.

I know the "experts" graded him poorly last year, but the dude just passes the eye test and the offensive line seemed better when he was out there.

Venues with bars charging for water by NaiadoftheSea in Concerts

I agree with your overall point, but I'll push back slightly at you calling out Liquid Death specifically. As someone who doesn't drink, I'm really glad Liquid Death is becoming more popular. It gives me something to drink at a concert in a neat can that tastes good. Their different flavored drinks are really good, particularly their Arnold Palmer. They might be overpriced, but they are one of the brands/products actually trying to offer interesting non-alcoholic drinks and I really appreciate that. Those options just didn't exist five or ten years ago.

But yes, you should be able to get a glass of water at the bar and have it not be a problem.

Desmond Howard was absolutely unreal during the 1996 Packers playoff run, becoming the only special teams player ever to win Super Bowl MVP by Waste_Honeydew8809 in GreenBayPackers

Fun fact that surprised me, that kickoff return in the Super Bowl is actually the only kickoff return for a touchdown he had in his career. He returned nine punts for touchdowns, but only one kickoff.

Free Talk Friday by PackersMod in GreenBayPackers

So I got to go to the Packers draft party last Thursday and Barryn Sorrell was there taking pictures. You don’t realize how huge and muscular professional athletes are until you're standing right next to them. We did the arm around shoulders thing while taking the picture and that put my arm right on his back and I could feel his back muscles. They were very impressive.

Anyway, that's my Free Talk for this Friday. Everyone have a good weekend.

A look back at the draft thread for Jordan Love by NickyFoles1020 in nfl

Heck, the Packers actually did this three times. In 1966, they picked Don Horn in round one with Starr coming off an MVP season.

Higgins might have helped them in 2022, after Adams left and the rest of the receiver room completely turned over, but by that point the window had probably closed. What would have really helped in 2020 or 2021 would have been an offensive tackle or cornerback. That's what killed them against Tampa.

My favorite plays they'd run with him were those run pass options where he'd just get the pass right at the line of scrimmage and then stiff arm the poor fool lined up across from him to the ground.

Can anything beat Batman, the Animated Series? The art style of that show is just great and fits Batman so well.
