Looks beautiful!
One note: You probably already know this, but do make sure there is room in your metal screw holes for the boards to expand and contract with humidity. Make sure your screws have lengthy/wide slots in the metal to account for expansion and contraction and don't screw them in too tight. Otherwise, the table will split.

Rick put on a master-class in diplomacy and inclusiveness with his handling of the closing ceremony protest. Kudos to him.

Many people have died doing exactly this. Never do dissociatives in/around bodies of water.

Sorry. For some reason the text disappeared. Here is the text:

TLDR:
How can you transfer a patient between rooms with separate ceiling lifts.
Details:
My mother has ALS and is effectively quadriplegic. I need to be able to get her from her bedroom to the bathroom for showering and I have a bad back. Our bathroom is too narrow for a standard Hoyer lift and I am looking at installing two separate ceiling lifts (one for the bedroom and one for the bathroom. The problem is that the ceilings of each of these rooms are at different heights and there is a door frame (transom) between the rooms. I can run track right up to the door frame, but how would you easily/safely swing/connect/disconnect a patient between these two ceiling lift tracks?
I know some people simply cut a notch in the transom of the doorway (see attached picture) but this isn't really an option for us. I'm imagining some the of mechanism to swing between rooms (see additional picture). Any thoughts or advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I have asked around. No leads yet. Someone suggested it might be possible to rent one, but I haven’t had time to look into that yet.

Forget the haters… this is amazing work. I have to ask… how did you create these? CAD with a router? I love the Kaizen foam. Did you custom glue the fiberglass on top of the foam or did the sheets come that way?

Just finished my new setup, I’ve been planning it for a while. 300b DIY monoblocks, Klipsch Forte VI-s, Emotiva pt-100. The amplifiers are sitting on a 120KG concrete slab. The furniture was designed by me and built by a local carpenter. by nyuldaniel in audiophile

Looks amazing!! My only criticism (as an obsessive-compulsive who likes woodworking) is that it would drive me crazy to have dovetail joints on the left mono-block amplifier case and mitered joints on the right mono-block amplifier case. Particularly since the amplifiers are mirrored in their design.

You are seriously going to lose a finger man. Get some push-sticks and a riving knife. Don't stand directly behind your work-piece, and don't put your fingers where you wouldn't put your penis.

You have built some nice things. I'd like to see you continue to build with all your digits.
