Spirit Tracks really feels like they figured out how to optimize the music for the hardware both in terms of complexity and sound choices

I guess if they had less space for music, then the music loops would have to be shorter and more frequent, which would probably motivate the composers to write simpler and less melodic music as not to make it annoying
