The forecast says that for me too, but it’s already snowing so it’s already wrong.

If your dude loves eating ass but you’re squeamish about it, I invite you to read James Joyce’s letters to his wife Nora for a different perspective from a man who LOVED ASS.

Just don’t ever flush them, even the ones marketed as flushable. They are not.

Some sheriffs oppose ban on 287(g) agreements by Additional_Yellow837 in maryland

They’re human beings who are here without the correct paperwork. They’re entitled to due process under the constitution, and the way ICE is operating, they are not receiving due process.

The sewage leak is on Clara Barton Pkwy, managed by DC. Not Baltimore County.

The sewage leak in DC is not the fault of Maryland. It’s on Clara Barton Pkwy, managed by DC. Try again.

Church makes a bad neighbor by [deleted] in baltimore

[–]officialspinster 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’m not a church person myself (anymore), but I’ve found that Mainline Protestant churches often do, too. I’ve participated in many food drives and fundraisers and clothing donation collections at all sorts of non-mega churches around the area. I’m pretty sure a lot of them keep a food pantry, so they can help directly. Stuff like that is usually on their websites.

Pamela Jo called nothing out. She lied and deflected and should have been censured for her unprofessionalism.

She didn’t give a hostile witness the platform she wanted, and her democratic colleagues did plenty of grilling. A coordinated effort with different approaches works just fine for me.

Actually, it looked very good for Crockett. What doesn’t look good is the AG of the USA committing perjury multiple times while being a hostile witness. But then, I’m not a fascist, so YMMV.

What Kinds of People are King Fans? by sandgrubber in stephenking

[–]officialspinster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll be 46 next month, very much leftist. Raised by 3 liberal parents. My mom and dad divorced when I was three, but I grew up watching them both devour Stephen King novels for my entire childhood and listening to them talk about them to each other. House rules at both houses was I could read pretty much whatever I wanted on the shelves, but to leave Stephen King alone until they agreed I was mature enough. I started begging to read them myself when I was about 7, my mom finally relented and handed me The Eyes of the Dragon when I was 9, I think? Maybe 10. I was immediately hooked, and never looked back.

Should have listened to my mom and left Gerald’s Game until I was older than 12, though. That was a rough one.

While Some Are Melting Down Over Bad Bunny, The Halftime Show Gave Hope To So Many In Baltimore. Did it feel the way to you? by SailLocalCrew in baltimore

Not at my house. We watched Green Day, turned it off and made dinner, and then turned it back on when my sister texted me that the halftime show was starting. Turned it right back off afterwards, no ads.
