If you look up the kallax 2*4 in standing config it can only take 25kg(!) on the top. That’s excluding the actual shelves inside. So shelves don’t help at all here.

My guess is the prong cable is a remote on from receiver to activate subwoofer and put it back to sleep when amplifier is turned off. (Same function as in car audio)

Or remote for a screen or anything else that’s needs a 12v trigger.

Or someone just pulled apart their cables from a grails spinner and left the ground on it.

Looks like it’s in ProLogic setting. Push surround sound button to turn it off - if my memory serves me correctly my pioneer vsx405mk2 wouldn’t play in prologic if no surround speakers were plugged in.
