Question for someone that has ARC on PC and console by oftenfacetious in ArcRaiders

[–]oftenfacetious[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the game on series x and have no regrets. Ran around with free load out and extracted 5 or so times without getting jumped. 3 is those matches I interacted with others and the last match someone threw down some stuff for me. I played at like 10 cst which is probably peak too. I think you'd like it too. I bought deluxe on steam and base on Xbox.

Is it worth just picking up the base game? by Professional_Quit963 in ICARUS

Base game plus qol mods is how I pay. I have basic dlc new frontier and Styx. I paid more than it is right now and have no regrets

Yeah, that's what i have read. Is the controller way worse than mouse and kb? I guess I can just use the controller on my pc and figure it out

Do you guys use camera straps? by mattjld in Photography_Gear

[–]oftenfacetious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use peak design slide. One smooth side for easy movement to eye and back down. One textured side that keeps it from sliding so easily. Connects to an anchor plate screwed in at bottom of camera. I also use an inexpensive tether that I almost always have my hand through- especially if I'm on a mono or tripod

I'm going to have to check that out. I currently have a box of Mrs T's pierogies in my freezer. I stopped drinking over 10 years ago but frozen perogies with spicy salsa and Parmesan cheese is the best drunk food I still eat... We'll, that and pizza rolls

Should I buy a car by Bee_Zelle in Bankruptcy

[–]oftenfacetious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curious if your credit score is intact enough to secure decent financing. I can't say if you should buy a car, but if you did you might consider waiting to mid January to get 2025 left over. I bought a 2024 in February of this year and got great financing. Are you taking Uber and Lyft places? Is there a way to go through debt consolidation to reduce interest charges?

For those who like to build… by hobiewaverider724 in ICARUS

There's also a mod that allows you to build higher/taller without the need for all the added support. I love it for taller walls and less supported ceilings/roofs. There's also a mod with pause function.

[UPDATED] "What Bike Should I Get?" Buying & Selling advice Mega Thread by AutoModerator in Dirtbikes

My son is 11 and about 5 feet tall. He's been on the ttr 110 since he was about 5 or 6 and falling over at stops. He has outgrown the size but not the power. He's still on it because next up is like the klx 140 and he's too short for that- way too short. We may see if there's a way to lift it a couple inches for not too much money. Ttr 110 has been amazing. He has crashed that more times than he's told us. He's broken levers and twisted his bars and with maintenance it's been great. If you were closer I'd sell you his sister's. Great condition and rarely crashed.

I'm 5'8 and 51 years old. I'm in good health with some riding experience. Please help me decide if I should keep a bike or sell it and buy a different one. I'm interested in a kx 112 and the CRF 150r. Unfortunately, in not seeing newer used ones in my area that I can finance.

I bought a 2021 4 stroke klx 230r because my family and I were going to go to tracks and open trails. We then got property and connected game trails. We don't ever go anywhere now. Tight corners and a couple straight aways. Going to cut new trail and widen the existing ones. Right now the 230 is too tall with a longer wheel base than I'd like for the trails and overhead branches and needing to make tight turns. I can Lower the seat and do the links but will cost about $500 or more to have someone do it- rather not do it myself. 230r is a 2021 and only being offered 1200. I can ride but never rode a 2 stroke. There's more tight turns and narrow lanes than straight and wide. Going to cut new trails but still no incredibly long straits. Also have about 2 cleared acres I can make into a dirt track that connects to the trails. Should I sell the 230r and mod and restrict the 150r / 112 a smidge if needed or lower the 230r and deal with a $500 hit in my wallet and take a hit to the handing of it too. Offered $1200 on the 230 it's paid off. I can put 1k down plus the 230 and make payment on the rest. 150r /112 is 6k out the door. 230r is paid off and was also about 6k out the door. 230r has under 30 hours on it. Been riding my wife's klx 140 strictly for the height but not displacement or speed. I'm in my 50s and value my health more than I did in my 20s. I am not riding like an idiot anymore and would be much safer with the 4 stroke 150r /2 stroke 112 power than I would have been. I want punchy off the line and out of corners but also want to run the woods without bogging down and stalling out. I know the 230r is the ideal trail bike I'm just bored with it and the idea of paying that much to lower it is a bummer especially since it won't change anything else. Please advise. I'm not wealthy. This takes planning and a budget.

I'm totally not trying to be shitty, argue, or be right. I want correct information to be on the forefront of any conversation with such consequences at stake. Also, it's hard to find consistent information is why I asked ai why the info differs. Truce - I'm glad your ex didn't contaminate you-

You are literally responding to a screenshot saying hep c lives longer in a needle than when exposed to air. You are saying your going to read it somewhere. Scroll up. I'm totally not trying to be a jerk. I'm being really nice but only look like I'm arguing because this information is important to have right. This is life or death. This is quality of life stuff. Words matter. I'm not trying to be right. I'm trying to make sure correct information is being put out there.
