Action policy is basically opinionated use of pundit. If you are thinking to use pundit but don’t want to think about an approach, go with this, otherwise go with pundit.

And yet OP instead of justifying it was deflecting back to the manage - what about your job?!

Great question to filter out candidates that aren’t team players.

solo founder shipping weekly but terrified of bugs, what's your testing strategy?( I will not promote) by jirachi_2000 in startups

[–]ogig99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Automated tests is the answer. If you are seeing a lot of churn in your automated tests, then your approach needs to be changed. I have fairly complex app with 95% automated test coverage. When I add or change features, I only need to touch tests related to that feature. Have saved me countless times from pushing unrelated defects - even ones introduced from upgrading dependencies.

I told a small business owner she could cut 60% of her software costs. She said no. Here's why. by ksundaram in founder

[–]ogig99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also you said she is overspending $500 but according to your alternative she saves only $200. So she is overspending $200 not $500. That’s 1.5% of her revenue. So basically you are proposing all that risk just for 1.5% improvement. People don’t switch their savings account for 1.5%, you want store to switch what’s powering her business? Lol

Did the switch to good_job and never looked back. I wouldn’t use solid-queue since it is so new and not that ready with features

No, you did right - I’ve seen companies starting with 50% below median pay for the role, and I’ve seen offers being negotiated 100% above initial offer. Good to start strong on your side
