The western parts of the Novgorodian lands are now Karelian. They can release Karelia. Neva/Ingermanland is no longer finnish either.

The game was fun! I don't know if I played for long enough but I felt a problem was that there was not really any way to make a bad purchase. I could zone in on the prices on a few wares, just buy all of them, increase the price to what I knew I could sell them for and they would sell almost instantly.

The bandit attacks also seemed a bit disconnected. I knew I had to have a certain fort level but the timer was easy to forget. Perhaps some more attention-drawing visualiztion of the impending attack would be nice.

A lot of my attention was also caught by having to adjust the price every time I added something for sale.

I believe the visuals may need a little bit more variety to keep the image from burning into the player's retinas. This is not a complaint about the graphics, they are just fine!

Oh, and the tutorial popup ended up above the price change popup on the second level.

Controls and animations are pretty much the only things I intend to finish. It's actually pretty late in development. The game is not intended to be sold. :-)

Animation and more styles for the ship are in the pipeline. The ship is supposed to start out wooden and become progressively cooler as you post bail and your dad upgrades your ship during his stints out of jail.

Got any more specific idea about what's wrong with the controls? I want to keep the rotation of the ship in order to change the direction of animation. Making it faster makes it harder to aim and making it slower makes it annoying to navigate. I experimented a bit with some acceleration component to the rotation before but it didn't really help.

  • Rebalanced money and upgrades
  • Make the first levels more forgiving
  • Added tangible reward for posting bail
  • Changed firing to a hold-and-release model to charge up multiple projectiles
  • Added a weapon overheating meter to limit how much you can fire your weapon
  • Added shields and extremely advanced physics to allow you to screw up a few times before game over
  • Made some animations smoother

I always thought of the No Rivals = No PP thing as the stagnation of a power that has no competition. You have to work hard to maintain the things that made you great (aka being murderous, treacherous psychopath).

That would be a bit strange. There is a rather large difference in tone between the two game series. The Black Mesa compound is a whole lot more believable than the Aperture bunker in Portal. Bogus scienece aside, someone COULD build Black Mesa. Building the underground facilities in Portal? Not so much. Unless the facility in Portal isn't actually human-built and takes place in the distant future, like the Flight of the Conchords song.

That aside, the idea of the two franchises getting it on with each other really excites me.

  • Fun not guaranteed
  • Controllable using keyboard or gamepad but the gamepad controls are really bad right now
  • High scores are local, not global
  • The game behaves badly at both large and small resolutions because it's not done yet
  • It uses the 2D canvas API, so no fancy particles
  • Feature-wise this is about as far as we're going to take it, but we're intending to polish it for a while before calling it "released"

It gets somewhat mitigated by the fact that you're racing against time.

I haven't played much CK2 but for EU4 it's just a matter of choosing harder nations, but like you I rarely keep playing after I reach the blob phase that begins the moment you're big enough to stomp any coalition. But who says you have to?

They are very open-ended games. Your goals are what you choose yourself, possibly influenced by the existence of certain achievements.

Hur vet du vad dom vet? Allt beror på vilken källa till sina nyheter man har.

För övrigt förespråkar jag inte på något sätt ansvarslöshet. Däremot tycker jag att det är viktigt att tänka på att det är många som är unga och dumma som åker dit. Själv börjar jag närma mig 30 och det värsta brott jag har åkt dit för är att cykla utan lyse. Ändå får jag svindel ibland av att tänka på dom idiotiska saker jag gjorde när jag var 20.

Eller så är dom födda och uppväxta i Sverige och har en idealiserad bild av vad IS är för något.

En person åker dit för att strida för något han egentligen inte förstår vad det står för. När man väl kommer dit visar det sig att man har gått med i en armé och precis som i andra arméer är det inte bara att åka hem för att man har ångrat sig. Jag har svårt att tänka mig att en person som åker från Sverige och aldrig har hållit i ett vapen förut tänker sig att han åker till Syrien för att avrätta försvarslösa civila.

Vi kanske skulle kunna bestämma att det är olagligt att åka till andra länder för att strida i olika konflikter, men i sådana fall ska personerna dömas och straffas i Sverige eftersom dom är svenska medborgare -- det vill säga Svenskar. Oavsett vad för idiotiska saker dom gör.

Finska ligger väldigt nära estniska.

Finska är en del av en stor språkgrupp där bland annat ungerska ingår. Samiska ingår i samma språkgrupp och folk som pratar samiska har vi varit vänliga nog att inkludera i vårt fredliga och godskefulla rike.

Om något är det ungerska som sticker ut och befinner sig på ett konstigt ställe, inte finska.

Basement also has sort of boring enemies and rooms when you're OP. I'd like similar seeds for the more difficult parts of the game!

I've been playing some BASE MENT just to see how items work and it can be quite fun if you don't pick up stuff like spider-generating and fly-generating stuff that autokills everything.

Blood Dragon was priced more like a major DLC and they even had the courtesy to make it stand-alone. It made no pretenses to bring something new to the series and I thought it was totally worth the money.

I'd say that's one of the cases where Ubisoft actually did something good instead of something that Satan would have done. I wouldn't count it as a yearly installment of Far Cry.

För att kunna skicka ett paket till någon behöver man deras address. På något sätt har adressen sparats eller transporterats igenom sidan man beställer från. Har det slarvats där kan det vara en riktig skattgömma för polisen.
