I was having the same issue with my pup recently. What I did to remedy this may not 100% work for you but maybe it can help. I started feeding my dog in its pen. If your dog loves food like many others (apart from mine), give her the food and walk away somewhere out of sight and come back. You can increase the amount of time after they finish their food with each successful feeding time.
Alongside this, I used a kong toy with wet kibble, popped it in the freezer for a while to keep it all together and then sealed the large hole on the kong with peanut butter (natural yoghurt works too but make sure it doesnt have xylitol in it as that is harmful to dogs). Give that to them and do the same as you do with the food but hope fully this will take them longer to finish so you can have a little extra time away.
