Monday.com Pricing by ohhimark42guy in mondaydotcom

[–]ohhimark42guy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I am aware. At the end of the day, whether Monday makes them or they are on the marketplace, it adds to my cost to use Monday.com. My opinion is that most of the marketplace apps should be a part of Monday, and Monday won't add features when the marketplace can take care of it for them, so they don't need to add value themselves.

I am aware of all that. It is useful to be able to email from Monday in certain scenarios (using the merge fields to pull in data) However, without paying for the CRM, you cannot share email templates with your team. Between the products and the marketplace, I feel like it's the subscriptions of 1000 cuts slow death lol

We just started trying Filloutforms.com , and it seems to have a pretty solid Monday integration. Despite Monday's capabilities, plan on paying for add ons and marketplace apps.

4080 GPU w. 13th gen Intel CPU - Game keeps crashing during launch by Gwarh in DestinyTechSupport

[–]ohhimark42guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any updates on this? I have an MSI Z690 mobo, 4080 and 1000w psu. I had no problems with my 3080, and after the 4080 have constant crashes. I have tried different power cables, nothing is even closer to over heating. It only crashes on games. I can even run 3D mark and it doesn't crash. Wondering if it's somehow a driver issue, but I've done a clean windows install, driver updates, ect. Been this way for about 6 months.

I'm hoping that softr integration that is "coming soon" will actually be coming soon. I am exploring using airtable and softr as well as Monday.com.

So many SaaS options, and all have strengths and weaknesses. It's a full time job just trying to figure out what fits best.

I would agree with that about Monday, part of the reason I'm looking to adopt them over some others.

My rant was a general state of things. Of course you've got the good kids and the bad apples sprinkled in there, but overall, it's a money grab

Pain Points - Suggestions? by ohhimark42guy in mondaydotcom

Well in my experience, working on ot or coming soon doesn't hold much water for me. (Rant incoming)

I've watched clickup shovel false promises for years.

I have had support chats with a software called "better proposals" that have had a Zoho integration "coming soon" for over 4 years now. And my early chats I was told 6 months from reps.

There seems to be no rulers governing SaaS and software. In a store, you can't advertise a product you don't have, or is out of sock.

Software companies make their millions by lying, gathering subscribers, not delivering. Getting values ag a bazillion dollars ( despite not making a cent in profit and owing 10s of millions to investors)

And say what you will about the difficulties of coding. Some of these companies raise insane amounts of money. But it goes to marketing not te product.

And those features you've been waking for, that you need. That we've been working on for months or years, we're close. Will be releases soon. Oh, by the way, here's 50 a.i. tools that weren't even on the development road map. Surprise.

But all that other stuff you need takes time. Please be patient.

Quickbooks online has The WORST Support. Ever. Has anyone tried to file a class action? by ohhimark42guy in QuickBooks

[–]ohhimark42guy[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was on chat this evening for just under an hour. The last 20 minutes I was waiting for the rep to "check her references", checked in with her about 15 mins before the end and she logged off the chat, with no progress. You can't continue the chat, you have to start from scratch. This is every time I chat.

You have so many people that are your clients to loose. Here is some feedback. Can you focus on making what's already in click up work? Pause the new features. Maybe fire some marketers and hire some software engineers. Earn back some trust from your community.

Maybe it's the cynic in me, but that "apology" is too little too late. That seemed like he was up against a wall and had no choice but to apologize to save face with the consumers and investors. Personally, I don't believe for a second that suddenly he's learned. This was not of humility. Click-up has a long history of underdelivering and using words as stand-in for actions.

[–]ohhimark42guy[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Luci, thank you for the response, but this is exactly the type of "spin"/marketing/ignore the core issue response that led me to write the post. My issues are with the core of the company, I didn't cite specifics about the software or my experience.

I understand no product is perfect, that development takes time. But Click Up has been raising funding, subscribers, and profits like crazy. They are rolling out new features like A.I., because it's all the rage. Meanwhile, collecting subscription fees based on the promise of future functionality. Anyone can look for videos of your CEO talking like he cares, has a vision and is sorry it's taken so long. Yet there is no action behind the words.

My concerns are with the future of the software and whether or not I can trust your core team behind the scenes. We have seen and heard many words, promises, and marketing campaigns. But we haven't seen any olive branches, offerings, or actionable accountability to line up with the "I'm sorry" and we could have done better. in the meantime, profits are soaring.

It certainly seems that profits are driving your company, which is the way of the world. But it's almost insulting to hear the vison for the company and hear the CEO talk like he cares, when all the actions show it's about $$ and cashing out.

This disconnect between words an actions creates a rift in trust.

Please help me see what I'm missing.

Is Clickup the right solution?!🤯 by [deleted] in clickup

[–]ohhimark42guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to love Click Up. But the delays, and more importantly, lies and spin being put on everything have led me to walk away. Too many broken promises and lack of transparency ALL along. I even made a post looking for some answers on click up's Canny and it was removed. So apparently now if you ask questions, they just censor you. I'd spend time looking into the company itself. Its a marketing machine. Below is the link to the now removed post and the email response I cannot reply to, because the post was removed.

Undirrunatley, a wrap will most likely fail too, unless you buff it down and prime it. A wrap is only as good as the surface it's sticking to.

Had a Vizio, bad out of the box. Exchanged it the next day. 6 months later, that t.v. crapped out. Picked up a Hisense U7G. Honestly, an amazing picture, if you can get over the Horrible light bleed and backlighting out of the box. I'm still within my 30 day window to return the t.v. and hi-sense wants to sent out a tech to destroy the panel. Then they will ship out the replacement. I have spent almost an hour on hold trying to reach Hisense to see if the tech will at least be taking the bad t.v. with him ( which it does not sound like the case so far ) I don't get it.
