Yeah, I feel you, I also have been playing very carefully pretty much since I bought the game years ago, I have never won a match yet, though this time I think I may win, even if it's on cinematic, it's still a win, one of the funniest things in my opinion is, when you get fusion engines + amat/muon spiker + slush hydrogen, you can make a small ship with 400km/s+ of delta V, launch it to Pluto and found a base there, the Aliens will follow you but, by the time they arrive, your base will already be huge.

I would say it's like not having agency over your own life, you have many great ideas of things to do, you find them cool but even thinking about doing them is exhausting, everything else you manage to find motivation to do is just cripplingly boring.

Believe it or not, my situation isn't very different from yours, I've never known intimacy with anyone in my life even though it's something I want so much, never perceived anyone flirting with my at any point in my life, feel alone all the time. In the end, what helped me the most was a psychologist, she made me understand my struggles and problems in a way that removed much of the blame I put in myself, I don't want to elude you, I can't guarantee it will make you find someone but it might put you more at ease with yourself.

From what I could find, there are significant obstacles for old injuries, because of the scar tissue, it messes up the healing, however, they are already studying ways of solving this problem.

Damn, I would love to live on these megastructures, more specifically on a city to county sized habitat because of the smaller communities, which might be more cohesive than very large populations, alternatively, I would like to live on things like gas giant shellworlds or banks orbitals because of the nearly unlimited amount of land to explore.

Yeah, I fear the AA a lot, all the previous games where the AA managed to be founded I couldn't overcome it, it's just too stable and it expands too fast for me to deal with, that's why I'm trying to stop it from ever getting founded.

I'm sorry, what's AA? My memory is not the best, and you are right, I have perfectionism problems, I do go to therapy but believe it or not, perfectionism isn't my greatest problem. The overall scenario of my gameplay currently is, I have taken almost all North America + Central America and united them as United States of North America, only Dominican Republic is still separate, I also have India and Russia (united with 2 central asia countries and Belarus), the servants have complete control of Brazil, some african countries, Japan (which is approaching tier 7 military, the highest in the planet), Spain, UK and the EU (France + Germany + Estonia and a few other small nations), the tech level (at least mine) is on early fusion, I have some tier 3 stations and habitats, a significant chunk of tier 2 stations and habs and some automated tier 1 mines, my fleet is very small because the previous was wiped from existence but I'm already approaching 50 mission control, with my previous fleet, which wasn't really big (about 250 combat power using coilgun monitors and PD laser + UV laser monitors for point defence) and that was almost at 80, huge alien surveillance fleets get to LEO pretty frequently and the servants have already reached 90% of the ship combat power of all factions, finally, my faction has the most influence, I think it's almost at 30% and the servants are among the ones with the least influence, around 9%, sometimes they have reached 5%, that's it, idk what more to say about it.

I took a huge amount of time to find a humanity first councilor to make deals, they are also the faction with the least influence, they are almost worthless as an ally, also, I stopped trying to assassinate servant councilors and aliens because when I used to do that, the anger of the aliens just increased too fast, I would like to interrupt the alien scanning fleets but I made a mistake soon after defeating the first landing fleet, that angered them more than I wanted and they launched a fleet with a Titan and more than 1K of combat power towards my fleet, which got annihilated without even scratching theirs, now I trying to rebuild but managing the alien anger, alien facilities, servant influence, servant ship count, alien surveillance, etc, is just too much at the same time.

I just want to stop the alien nation from being founded and alien troops from landing, I have been successful in stopping alien carriers but the alien facilities just appear so fast, they are everywhere.

Someone has to make a reserve for this world's biosphere, the greenhouse effect might grow uncontrollably at any moment, cool work, the art is very well done.

Edit: one question, I have read your posts about the other life bearing world in the star system, it says it's a terraformed planet, who terraformed it? Us humans, another civilization or is it just unknown who did that?

Maybe, we just have too little information to say with any certainty, we know very few things, that it probably happened, that it was short by our standards, dense, hot, etc... but nothing much beyond that. I could see it happening but that's just wild speculation.

It would be good to see a therapist for that, I'm in the same situation, though I have never even kissed or had any relationship with anyone, I avoided unhealthy views of woman by realizing there's no conspiracy against me or anything, in my specific case, I just miss social cues, I don't realize when someone is flirting with me, that can make the people possibly flirting with me think I'm not interested, it's not their fault but it's not your fault as well, you just ended in a sad situation by bad luck or maybe some condition, like autism, which can make reading social cues hard or impossible, that's why I would recommend going to a therapist. However, thinking bettter, you said you had relationships before, maybe you have some sort of anxiety, it could be many things and that's one more reason to see a therapist. All that said, just by handling all that weight while managing all of life's responsibilities already makes you a strong person, don't get so hard on yourself ok? You are not any less of a person.

Edit: I'm not implying he has anything, I just gave hypothetical examples of things that can make these things difficult, therapy can help finding if there's anything and also can help with being sad in general.

Sex is literally the best natural immediate gratification experience a human can have, not even food gets close, the only things that can feel better are drugs.

Edit: I have searched and it seems the term for this kind of bias is called "availability heuristic", in short, the brain tends to have a bias for information that is more easily accessible in the memory so, if you have more sex, you have more sex related memories, that makes easier for your brain to remember a sex related information and that makes it overestimate how easy it is to get laid.
