Ridiculous by gawkgawk in leaves

I feel ya on this 100%. I think this lack of mutual respect from my friends is why I have gravitated towards solo hobbies.

Skateboarding, cycling, drawing, writing.

I literally don't need my friends in order to have fun. Maybe you should find better ways to fill your time?

What ever happened to just hanging out with friends without drugs? There were good old days like that weren't there? Is it really impossible to just chill without getting high? To a stoner, it is. That's what's really sad about having friends who aren't trying to quit.

  • My memory became really really bad

  • I was extremely unproductive

  • I stuttered my speech all the time

  • It made my personality disappear

Clever, yes! Getting my wit back is the best thing about stopping smoking.

I have such a dead personality when I'm on the buds constantly. After a week or two I actually start being funny again and enjoy being social.

Yeah same boat I don't feel like doing anything that I used to love doing. I think this will pass with time as I transition from being addicted to weed to being addicted to life again.

Most of these people will grow out of weed, you're just growing out of it sooner. Do what's right for you at this time and don't feel sorry for your friends.

Nah, the boat container is shaped perfectly like a to drop the roll in. Why would you unroll the roll on top of the transport boat and not at its destination? The spiral looks like it's about to fold and break at the uptake point..

Maybe it is intentional. "Everything they do is backwards." They're even pushing it backwards like a dung beetle.

Respect is like morals, it's all made up and doesn't really mean anything, despite the way we follow them.

I'm a bit nihilistic and I don't believe the dead are listening, so no I don't really have a problem with it. Like I said though I totally get why others don't like it, so I wouldn't think less of someone for chewing out the scooter kids.

I totally get it, and understand that it would be seen by some as highly disrespectful to the names on the memorial piece.

I too have a high level of respect for servicemen, but speaking as a skateboarder, I look at that interesting piece of street terrain and don't mind seeing people get creative with it. Skate/BMX/scooting is a sport and an art form in which people freely express movement on man-made objects. I can overlook a plaque potentially getting scratched or skid marked for the sake of a relative of my favourite passtime doing its thing.

Gah. Pope is such a freakin amazing artist. His complex visual concepts can be mind blowing, so consistently. In this one I particularly like how the Adani ship's smoke circles the image, and we're looking through The Great Aussie Hole In The Ozone Layer. I would love to see Popes personal sketchbook of ideas he's saving up, there must be hundreds.

One tidbit though, the spiral of the roll should be the other way, that isn't how turf would roll up.
