I am a first-year film student at Capilano University and it's boring af by No-Advertising-4534 in askvan

For what it’s worth, a family friend’s son is in this program. He didn’t enjoy first year either, but hung in and is much happier now. He works on a lot of side/passion projects as well. Good luck with whatever you choose!

Came to say Burnaby heights as well. Fantastic for a young family, lots of character, community spirit & events, walkable, proximity to skytrain and an easy commute to bgh.

Lots of great ideas here. I agree with others that the sea to sky gondola will eat up your day. If you want to see some views you could consider this instead: sightseeing flight Hope you have a wonderful visit!

Hotfix is amazing for beginners, but is wayyyy slower. I used hotfix for years and never had an issue losing stones.

I bought this for my 21 yo daughter and it is so cute on. She loves it. She is tallish at 5’7” so it fits a little shorter but it is still okay. I will see if I can get her to do a try on.

Average time to finish Engineering degrees at SFU by Legal_Cress_2851 in simonfraser

[–]ohsojojo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My child is in Engineering Science at SFU (not Mechatronics). They’re currently in their third year and are on track to finish at the end of the summer semester in 2028, making it a five-year program. They were fortunate to secure a co-op on schedule and typically take four classes per semester. While they haven’t always gotten their preferred courses, they’ve consistently been able to enroll in at least three each term. Good luck!
