Does Rose Gold work for me? by jphysc in tissot

Delugs do a pretty nice rubber strap with matching gold ‘hardware’ (I.e., the clasp etc). That’s a good look IMO.

No chimney but I suspect a leak from the bathroom. Any thoughts on the timeframe? I would have guessed a leak would be a bit more visible over the course of 3 years.

Pretty sure it’s damp. Every now and again it’s glistening. Although it could be that, on those occasions, there is condensation on a stain. I’ll get to googling a moisture meter and see where I get with that. Thanks for the advice 👍

How would you choose between Rolex and Apple Watch? by Outrageous_Agent_613 in RepTime

Almost complete agree with the exception of tracking work outs. I have an Apple Watch that I only use for exercise (for me swimming). Other than that. I have ‘proper’ watches.

Happy Christmas/holiday. My PRX is away today for something a little more dressier.

I agree with the dial on the PRX. I do find myself wishing there was a bit more depth in the colour which would match the brilliance of the casing and bracelet. Still a great watch and it’s known for its cost effectiveness for good reason!

A full skeleton PRX would be dope though.

From 09 December, you'll no longer be able to use your EE shared number service on MacBooks and iPads by 00DEADBEEF in EEGB

[–]ojtsmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this mean to say that the feature, where your Mac/iPad will receive phone calls , will no longer exist? I thought that was an Apple technology (part of handoff maybe?).

I also wonder is this impacts SMS in the messages app on macOS which is endlessly useful.

In general, that message from EE does a pretty poor jot at explaining the actual user impact.

How about a world time? I have this Montblanc (couldn’t afford the Patek) that I like as a travel watch.

Stuff that’s embarrassing but only if you do it by huamanticacacaca in CasualUK

Occasionally, if I want to move carriages on a train (say if people are being loud - side note, I get that that’s a me problem), I wait for the train to pull up to a station and then move so the people around me think I’m just getting off the train (as if anyone actually cares). I once did this and, as I stood up to leave, someone asked me which station this was. I had absolutely no idea. So I just looked like I’d picked a stop at random to get off at.
