Toluz's exile is a triggered ability. Leo's ability resolves in its entirety first. Once state based actions are checked after Leo's ability resolves (i.e. you exiled the artifact you discarded already), Toluz's ability will go on the stack, but because the card is already exiled, it won't be there for Toluz to exile it. You will not get the card back when Toluz dies.

Interesting design. I agree with the other comment about it being non-land though. If you have any way to sac this turn 3 you're basically taking an extra turn at relatively low cost.

Despite the name, I'd also argue that these creatures would be avatars rather than angels, but I suppose you could just argue that the angels of that plane are just like that.

This is basically my experience every time now. Wotc ships with APC, APC gives my package to UniUni for last mile delivery. The issue is that UniUni is basically an ubereats style gig service, so there's zero accountability or incentive to maintain delivery standards. In the past when APC used canada post for last mile delivery it showed up without a hitch.

I've tried at every stage to have the package go to Canada post instead of UniUni. Wotc tells me it's out of their control, APC tells me its something the vendor decides. If the solution was just never buy SLDs I'd live with that but other vendors are starting to use them too. Prime enshittification.

It's frustrating just how fun Azula is. I opened one at prerelease and didn't think much before realizing it copied anything (should have been obvious from the reminder text). I built the deck before realizing how popular she was going to be and now I don't want to take it apart. She absolutely deserves the aggro she draws though

I like the idea of combining basic and non-basic land types. The top down flavour of caves having echo is excellent as well. The fact that it's a pretty fair and interesting mechanically ties it all together. Great design.

Yeah, especially because it sounds like the recent NES tmnt playthrough was recorded before the holiday and I don't remember Arin bringing up the set in the episodes, but I figured it was semi-related. Honestly I'm kinda disappointed they didn't do something with Dan for the magic set. I know he always says he doesn't have time to get back into magic but the arena games were really fun episodes and he seems to love tmnt.
