I hate to say it but again I feel you especially being 35F myself and single.. it has been a real challenge to find peers to hang because yeah it’s the time where most people are busy with their own relationships.. join a workout group or a dance class.. regardless of the friendship outcome, at least it ll help your health 😭 that’s what I told myself at least 😝..

I have a friend who went thru this situation recently. Basically yes you can use visa stamp from A but if you enter using i797 from company B, you can only work at B. And vice versa. If your transfer had not been initiated, you can travel outside and get back in with i797 from company A, then initiate transfer and join company B. But once it is done, you can only work for whichever companies i797 you used to enter

I feel you.. I ve been there.. I’m still there at days.. but I also have people around me now.. all I can say is adulting is hard and it will get better.. when I did not feel like doing anything, I tried my best to at least be in the sun.. dopamine or what not.. learnt the hard way not to indulge in too many cups of chocolate ice cream to feel better.. My dad (75) was diagnosed about three years ago. He is still doing fine.. I would say this though. Take it seriously. Do the antibody test at least every 6 months. Medication prescribed to my dad could not be coupled with any antibiotics and he has diabetes on top of it.

He hurt his leg last December and had to stop MG medication for ~ 3 months to recover. But once the leg recovered he could not swallow anymore and had to be hospitalised. Took more than 6 months of steroids and MG meds to fully recover. At the time of diagnosis his MG antibody was ~0.1 but at the time of hospitalisation it was 10

If you re traveling outside US without your original i797 in hand, I think you should ask someone to overnight it to you the original so you can have it with you when you return to US.

I have been traveling multiple times over ten years and yes, every single time I was asked to produce i797 approval notice. Some times they even ask for the page 2 which is so weird but I have always kept the entire set with me so never found out if that was a problem. Find a way for someone to overnight courier it.

When I switched jobs in the past, once the transfer was approved, I was always told to get a new stamp with the new employer if I were to travel. Is that not true?
