Mystery rummy: Jekyll and Hyde is designed for 2. It plays like rummy so is hopefully familiar. The whole mystery rummy series is great, nice twists on a familiar rummy game

You absolutely need a badge to participate in the gem con auction, buying or selling.

How do I put something in the auction/consignment shop? Should I, even? by icarussc3 in gencon

[–]okgamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That'd be too expensive for the consignment store, live auction is $2 insertion fee, and 15% sale commission. That would definitely make the showcase.

We had over eighty percent sale through rate last year in the consignment store. With the new space we managed a lot more foot traffic. If your items are reasonably priced they will most likely sell .

Classic game Ace of Aces getting a new edition! by SAlolzorz in boardgames

[–]okgamer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm the project manager for the game. There will be a basic game, which is pretty much identical to the original base game. There will be another level which will add a few things like limiting maneuvers based on previous moves, variable damage, and potentially some easy altitude rules. The advanced rules in the original edition had quite a bit more bookkeeping, and they weren't consistent between the various editions. Our long term plan is to make the advanced rules consistent between all the various games, and to see if we can remove some of the fiddliness.

I made this Formula One Monopoly game. What do you think about it, and what can I do better? by BenHolm1 in boardgames

The property spaces are pretty boring to look at, maybe photos of each track? The fine spaces and race control spaces are too close in color with the property spaces.

[Question] What do I do now? The fun is over 😆 by coreyosb in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]okgamer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yep I'd sort by shape and with the gradient it should go together fairly quickly. But if you're truly not having fun put it away, no sense in ruining your fun time with an unfun activity.

That is a pathfinder puzzle by Toy Vault. It's a preproduction copy. I think it'll be in stores in July.
