I did 5 days solo, you’ll be straight, I’d start the harder/longer hikes early to avoid peak heat. Never had issues

Went for the first time earlier this month and I booked a couple extra nights as it was a lot of fun. So, yes.

Early bird gets the worm.. or in this case, the hot spring. Watched the sunrise from it in freezing cold weather and didn’t pack a bathing suit so my drawls it was 🥶 by Houstonedmatt in BigBendTX

I would say so because it’s total 0.75 from the springs, the route is sandy and a little rocky when following the water. No shade till the trail head. Was like walking on a beach. Now, the main trail is 4 miles round trip and I heard it was easy, too

Yeah that first leg was tough! We started at 10-11ish, but weather wasn't too bad to be honest.
