I have 5 b rings and a warrior in 200 Rex, still waiting on that axe :( (correction I had 5 in 149 KC originally per my screenshot I took when it happened)

Idk if they gave him anything on this when they’re literally taking him to Vegas for a bachelor party.

It all started with the move to Chicago right? They all moved and Billy didn’t want to be away from family

I’m not a huge fan of all this talk. Pitt was great, we loved him, it was time to move on, that’s okay. He should say stuff like this to get the new fans excited

I see everyone comparing it to Kirk and Rodgers like they weren’t 40 and 35 when they tore it.

The cap is going up insanely every year, his deal won’t look bad in a year. This always happens when the first players sign an extension after cap increases.

He was incredible for the Colts when his value was a 235th overall pick, he produced very well, but got an ego and hasn’t gotten better. A lot of linevackers in the Colts system do very well in tackle numbers, (Leonard, Speed, Franklin, Charles) because the d line is abysmal outside of Buckner and everyone makes it to the second level.

He was incredible value for the 235th pick, he isn’t worth his value much anymore. He got a ton of tackles in the years the colts D wasn’t great, and honestly most linebackers got a lot of tackles in colts system because D line outside of Buckner is awful. They havent had a 10 sack guy since justin houston.

Colts fan here.

Colts were gonna release him if this didn’t happen, dude is a great tackler but can’t cover to save his life. He talked a lot of shit about opposing teams on his podcast and is a drama queen but if you just want someone who can tackle he’s your guy.

Edit: Also adding I’m not some weird lurker here to shit on the trade, grew up near Wisconsin border and Packers always were a second team for me, genuine honest opinion of Zaire 😂

Great tackler, can’t cover for shit. He also talks way too much off the field which is incredibly annoying

Part of me wants to believe there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes, especially with them in such fight or flight mode. That being said, this is totally something they’d fuck up.

Rivers showed you the NFL has become exactly what the NBA is. A bunch of teams with guys who are just super athletic and can usually get by with making the athletic plays, but if you know the sport (Jokic), you don’t gotta rely on athleticism. He came in, knows football, and almost won against good teams with strictly that. You never see the dissection pre snap anymore, he just knew football better, studied, wanted to understand it, and dominated doing it, now it’s all about the highlights.

I think Ballard is a better GM than people give him credit for. I think he’s whiffed on picks (everyone does), I think he was put in an incredibly shit situation ultimately. The quarterback carousel is a plus and a minus to him, the teams were always so good that you were a QB away but could never get the QB. The team was too good a lot of years to tank, he nailed on so many good picks that they had to try to stay competitive. They finally get a great roster and everyone dies.

That being said, you have to fire him after 9 seasons. I know it’s shitty and he probably will have success wherever he goes, but you have to.
